Has anyone had success with the call-up "Marginal" xASA's?

How long are MASAs taking to ticket at the moment?
I'm assuming that they're back to within the 24 hour window now that the initial rush around the change announcements has occurred...
I've called QF a few times now since it's been over a week and it hasn't been ticketed.
Apparently there's an internal system error to do with my "profile number not matching", so the problem needs to be rectified and/or it needs to be ticketed manually. The nice lady on the phone said that it should take about a month for the booking to be ticketed!?!

Just booked my first ever MASA....have done a few ASA when they were all the rage. Kelly answered the phone and was very helpful, talkative and knew exactly what I wanted and we had a giggle about SC :D

Now that I've dipped my toes I think I'll drained the kids accounts and book a bucket load more.

I just got off the phone (20-25 mins) with Erica in Melbourne. Quite competant, and soon realised that she had not started the process correctly when she saw 400k+ points for the booking. She tried to adjust the booking before apologising and said she had to start again.

She was well aware that the booking fee/points did not apply. "Oh that's long gone"! when I asked about it. Very proactive.

What is the cc fee for a TT booking? I was charged $14, which I figure to be 2x $7 domestic cc fees,

Anyway, booking is for 2:

MEL-SYD-AKL-BNE-MEL, 144,000 points and $1937 in J

Obviously you got the right Erica

Booked JASA on Monday with Michelle for AKL-xSYD-LAX for 84k and $665 including the CC fine.

Relatively painless with a 10 minute all up call. Ticketed this morning.

A bit more expensive than last time ...

This thread will self destruct in 10 weeks time, tick tick tick, however it will get popular next week from Tuesday when the double status credits emails start hitting ;)

So what is the morally acceptable maximum number of SCs that can be earned with JASAs during a double SCs promotion?

Last one was NZ $820 return (& 168k traveling in the first part of that tomorrow )

Apr 14 | May 14 | J | BNE-MEL-PER-KTA-PER-MEL-BNE | 97,331 | $385.02 inc CC fee | ? | ? | 400 + 50% bonus

I booked my last JASA run a few days ago with an agent (Trisha?) in Brisbane - asking for a maginal Any Seat Award was enough. Soon after that she said, "Only Platinums know about these!" She also said at one point, "Let me look at my RoQs..." The call took 17 minutes.

Booked the above around 4.30pm yesterday with ticket/email received this morning.

I'm starting to get a taste for these things!

Gina of Hobart worked a treat this evening. Knew exactly what I wanted and had a wonderful demeanour for getting the job done....some trouble due to the booking being right on the fringe of the allowed timeframe. The booking appears fine on QFF however, no points deducted yet.

I actually want the flight to be a week later but I've taken some insurance....cancel and re-booking will be in-order if the planets align.

2 x F SYD-LHR for April next year 384,000 + $1,576.00 :D

You may be able to change if you ask nicely. A lovely lady once charged me a $1 fare difference in order to revalidate it. Let's just say it was the best value $1 I've ever spent :)
