Given this thread is now 74 pages long, that is a bit of a tall ask. Thanks, are you able to link to these "other answers"?

Booked a couple of U class ASAs this evening, they are considerably more expensive than my previous bookings though - BNE-SYD-CBR was 32000 + $280 - still about the same cash handed over as a Y fare on the same day. Minimum points appears to have gone up significantly now too...
WP kept for this year but wondering if I should start crediting future flights straight to AA as the goal of LTG is less appealing by the day...

Sounds like it was (mis-) priced as two individual legs. Although the cash seems high even for that. The spreadsheet has $104.89 for BNE-SYD, and I think SYD-CBR would be similar.
Maybe you have been charged BNE-SYD and SYD-CBR, as there is a BNE-CBR flight. It seems a bit expensive to me, but I'm sure someone with more knowledge than me of the fare rules will know.
In December 2013 I flew a couple of CBR-SYD-OOL-SYD-CBR in J for 32,000 points and $304 each.
JessicaTam and I encountered a very stubborn woman on the phone on Saturday. Insisted that an ASA could only be one way (we had to pay for the return), and only for one person. And also priced one way for the number of points we would expect for the return. HUCA.
I had the same a couple of weeks ago - HUACA worked for me. I've never done a multi person or return ASAJessicaTam and I encountered a very stubborn woman on the phone on Saturday. That information about the CSA should go to Red Roo in a PM or by email ... it's a (short term) training issue. The CSA really needs to read and understand RoQ 4470, as we'll be peppering them up to 23:59:59 on 30th June.
Whoops, water out the nostrils again , lucky I missed the laptop - pity about the client file though .Short term training definitely required, although maybe short listing for redundancy would be better. After all, QF has to find its 5000 from somewhere!

Just off the phone with the Platinum desk, spoke to a very efficient Scottish lass and booked a FASA to LHR (will be my very first )
SYD-MEL-LHR for Mar 15 192,000 points and $977.11.
All done and dusted in 5 minutes

Don't be sorry. It was worth it :!:LOL, sorry about that QF WP .

February next year, booked since March 28 2014? I booked a number of them the Feburary just gone for about that price...Just checked and I was able to book a CBR-SYD-BNE JASA for 16000 points + $241 + cc fees in February.
Fair point, and at 75% to OWS on QF I'm unlikely to start from the ground up for that purpose alone, but given the situation with the value of QF's loyalty scheme AA is looking quite attractive in the long term...LT OWS will not be any easier with AA.
it seems there is a marked difference between fares offered for sale before late March 2014 and those available since...
