Has Climate Change "reporting" reached "End Game'?

My antennae are vibrating about climate change, I sense a "critical mass" of opinion that will tip us all into changes that will make us all poorer (much)
That's ok .. I can pay..
but…. who would have thunk that populist climate change action could be the trigger for the recession(depression) we had to have .
It's not all bad.. everyone can revalue and reset. …all those squillions of printed money can be incinerated and we can all get back to basics (very)
Mortgages can be renegotiated to the new rates and there will be lots and lots and lots and….of stock available
Interest rates can go back to long term norms , that will slow sales for a decade or so .. but hey it will be good for the planet.

Summary : Lemming be wary of what you wish for…...

Sure, that's the attitude of the inner-city elites and greenies who promote this gumf.

Visit India, and other third world countries like I do. "Sorry, you don't get lifted out of poverty like the First world has done by using coal. Tough luck."

Yeah, tough luck to hundreds of millions living in poverty, cooking with dung rather than electricity. But what does Greta Thunberg think about that? I haven't heard. Låt dem äta tårta ?

Got any funny remarks about third world poverty, and how to mitigate it @Hvr ? Yeah, this is where I do get agitated - the Australian city-dwelling sneerers about 'idiots', when they don't have to deal with the poverty that the 'climate change' zealots would just ignore.

I bag Mars as Venus and Mercury are a bit warm. Our moon is a bit lacking with water.

nice to see a bit of humour in a bitter discussion about a depressing subject...

Am a bit unsure that the life forms on Mars and Europa will be that welcoming. I guess once we have the Cavorite propulsion system fully developed HG Wells can be satisfied that he was the one who thought of it.

The Martians may want to compete with the Europans on price and quality of those prawns @Quickstatus.
Meanwhile back in Sydney we have a cracker show in Sydney with some prawns from DJs and some bubbles.

With volcanoes, fires in Brazil and Indonesia as well as Australia we need some drought breaking rain to clear the air in quite a few locations.

The haze has reduced my solar array output!!!. Greta would be fuming.....

BTW how much CO2 did the NZ volcano release. surely that counts toward NZ emissions?

Krakatoa is priming itself for another burp.. last time it dropped northern hemisphere temps by half a degree or so.
Perhaps we can find a way to agitate the plates and stir up some nice cooling clouds
