HKG lounge crawl 10 June 2018

Anyone staying in HKG? Would be good to arrange an afternoon tea or some type of local adventure!

I'm up for something in Central, but probably won't make it out to Macau this time.

Staying at Pullman Park Lane from 8-10.

Hi All, I happen to be departing from HKG to MEL on the 10 Jun 2018 flying VA86 at 7:50pm but i'm only Silver Status. However, after this flight will be Gold.

Anyone flying Virgin that day?

Most will be flying OW so VA is out of the mix. That being said happy to catch up if you like I can get a couple into the AMEX lounge and only one person has put their name up to get in.

I understand the VA product may be good, I have not flown it. If we catch up I will bring you back to the correct side.

So far I believe 3 of us have Amex access including yourself and I (presumably each with 2 guest spots) along with the few that have put their name (@JessicaTam and @Hvr - add anyone I've missed) I think we are good!

I will also be in the Lounge flying Syd-Bri-HK QF 508 (D Class). I am a platinum member. I have a 2.10 hr wait in HK before proceeding to Mumbai. Hope to meet like minded people.

What time is your flight to BOM? Assume it is with CX or other OneWorld carrier.

We should be floating (figuratively as well as literally) around the terminal from about 1400-ish.

Sunday possibly? I might do some touristy stuff on Saturday but unsure yet (as mentioned in an earlier post, it's my first time there).

Either suggested location looks OK to me. I suggest that doing in on Sunday may be detrimental to the "lounge crawl experience" as the lounge crawl involves substantial eating (and drinking) and I tend to save myself for the afternoon by taking only a very light snack for breakfast/lunch on the day. Saturday works for me and it could be worked in around some tourist stops for Ewing if interested. Alternatively Stanley by bus is a great couple of hours but usually involves having a meal and a couple of beers, so conflicts with having a Yum Cha. I am totally flexible.

Hi Nimo. Welcome on board. To be part of the lounge crawl you need to be departing HKG on 10 June and travelling on a OneWorld airline. You could join in any function or meet up that eventuates on the 9 June if you want.

Hi CMA222 thanks for warm welcome but unfortunately I am not traveling on oneworld and I will deparrt from HK on 11july on virgin Australia but would love to be part of functions like that in future

Platinum!! This would be HKG run # 3 for me.
Arrv on Sat so could do dinner if anyone is keen, no plans yet, except that I need to get to Temple St to pick up some of the Sim2Fly cards (unless someone else is routing via BKK and willing to pick some up for me? ). Also, as luck would have it, only read about the 50% off QF redemption AFTER I have booked my flights, would have kicked myself doubly hard but the QF fees on the award flights killed the deal for me anyway.

As in flight out of HKG on Sun, I might get on the same flight as Trippin to KUL, although I have yet to confirm that sector. Worst case it will be via CX to SIN or KUL.
