I'll probably head out to town for lunch before heading back to the airport at ~1430.

I also have access via my (SIN-based) credit card where I can bring in a guest to all premium plaza lounges as many times as I like, however, I don't think that means I can enter and exit the same lounge 12 times to bring in 12 guests within a period of 5 mins...

I need to save some money so my plan of arriving via SIN looks to out the window.

I have found Royal Jordanian flights BKK-HKG-BKK for ~AUD250 return leaving Saturday afternoon and returning Sunday night. The booking class is O which doesn't earn on any FF program that I can see except for Royal Jordanian. I can't see how to book other booking classes on Royal Jordanian website.

This means I now need hotel for Saturday night as I was going to stay in SIN airport during transit. Hong Kong hotel prices are not one of my favourite pass times.

Accor is having a members private sale very soon (sale should start around 19/4, but not sure about timezone) so it's worth a look there.

Price for the Ibis in North Point is currently 462 HKD after tax, although the one in Sheung Wan isn't on sale (may be the rates aren't loaded yet). Novotel Century is a pretty good price as well.

Hate going through special links to sales.

Checked Accor earlier and this hotel including breakfast was HKD561 where as Holiday Inn Express Kowloon East is HKD582 including breakfast.

Not likely to make Platinum with either loyalty program but not sure if IHG will come out with another promotion similar to Accelerate.
