As an aside, when SWMBO eventually shops there I'll make sure I tell her to bring the Chanel handbag. That usually focuses the attention of LV staff. ;)

Everyone in that shop already has multiples of them. Try on weekdays though, when you're eventually ready to leave a hopefully not too significant part of your wallet behind.

I was thinking more in terms if the attention of the sales staff as someone who might spend money. Don't really give a damn about the other customers opinions. ;)

We need to do a lot more than that to get the sales staff attention. It's like a zoo in that place. :(

The sister in law is on the special mailing list now for LV. Perhaps by the time they get to honk kong she'll be upto Chairman's lounge status and be allowed to book appointments. ;)

Good news on my trip the Peninsula hotel LV is the preferred venue. Thank you very much for providing the info to get to that decision.

I would propose that the Sunday yum cha brunch to be at Lei Garden Restaurant (利苑酒家) at Elements. It's a nice and clean place, and the food is generally well regarded. I would anticipate a start time of around 11am, and since it's at the shopping complex above Kowloon Station, it would be perfect for us to head to the airport after the meal - or to complete our last minute shopping rush. Allow for about $30 AUD / $200 HKD per person. Assuming we head for the airport straight after the brunch, we should arrive at the lounges at roughly the same time as Jessica and John who would be arriving HKG as transit pax.

Ok I am in....

Flying out Sun night with BA (23.15). Arriving into HKG thu afternoon, but am likely in SIN for a few days. Will work out my SIN/HKG plans soon.

I'm now confirmed on MH72 arriving 1pm-ish on 7 June and MH433 departing 8-ish on 8 June. Not a fan of the 738 "J" on departure but the CX-operated codeshare was an increase of more than 20% in price so the flying sofa will do me this time (The CX currently has long-haul seat map loaded). Not sure if I could update the spreadsheet?

Mal is twisting my arm on this, I'm pondering.. but I'd need to decide today. Based on a current sale and promo code I can do LHR-HKG in whY+ Friday evening, arrive Saturday afternoon then flying home on the same flight as Mal. 820~ish GBP return.

How many continents is that? Is the UK a continent? :p

Mal is one of the few AFFers I have met in 3 continents. Come to think of it he is the only AFFer. ;)
UK and AU, and given some discussion that occurred recently I may make it Africa as well soon. ;)

We're definitely in Mal's corner for this one. :)

The minister of finance isn't overly keen on it.. I'm about 60/40 right now. 3hrs6mins left.

Oh sheesh. The arm twisting was to let you know about the event, not to stalk my flights ;)

Anyway great to have you onboard (in multiple ways).

I am staying in KUL on the 7th and 8th, so who is stalking who?
