Might be going to the retail expo on the 10th in HKG so dates might line up!

Not me either as I am booked on PE. Anyone else booked PE on Qf128? Trying to get a window seat but no luck at this stage.:-|

I have absolutely no idea why anyone would move into 32B with the A already taken and plenty of other empty seats. Guess I'll move.

Looking very full in PE. View attachment 28458

I am booked in 26B (I prefer aisle) with an upgrade request to J. When or if they make the J upgrade allocations that will free up some PE's.

Actually I'm not moving. That side of the plane gives the chance to see the city and bridge on approach from the north. The other side doesn't give that option.

:D I have put in an upgrade request to J too, which is also looking a bit full but nothing like PE. QF is going to have a huge headache on this flight, so many J upgrade requests from P1s and WPs.

I am currently in 11 A with an upgrade in for first as a WP 1 I should know 5 to 7 days out

I thought I should kick this off again, we have about 6 pax for dinner on the 7th. I have been to Sai Kung once for seafood dinner - it was spectacular plus one gets to see a bit of the countryside. Not sure how to get the troops there but I'm sure it can be done. Anyway, if that is too far and not a good place to continue with after dinner drinks at say LKF or Wanchai, then perhaps somewhere nearby would be more palatable?

Well this little WP1 is in whY. At least I'm in 80A. :)

I've thought and thought about an upgrade request, but I think it's healthy to savour the pointy end more if I take a refresher course in life before I found AFF. :)

I might actually come down and check your seat out for the future reference. Been on a lot of Ys but so far none on A380 I have flown to date

I have not been there but it is certainly worth considering if the logistics of getting there and back can be worked out. It is possible by MTR and minibus.

I have flown in 53C and 67C as well as 33G. I do not need a lot of leg room. If travelling whY the little cabin upstairs (32 - 36) wins hands down IMHO. 36D is a no go. Of course I preferred my upgrades to 2A and 2K on other occasions !!

If I remember correctly, there should be some red minibuses from Dundas Street in Mong Kok.

a taxi wouldnt cost much from Hang Hau MTR - although mini buses can be a fun ride if nothing else!

Being HK based, do you think Sai Kung is a good option? I just thought I'll start the discussion but honestly, happy to go anywhere as food in HK is generally good.

Depends on the restaurant I guess - I havent eaten out in Sai Kung before but have been to other villages nearby.

It can be nice to get out and see the more natural side of HK which you'll get in Sai Kung.

Ugh, I'm still a mess with multiple bookings. I'm thinking about flying in now on UL to HK or CAN then out of KL or SIN to get back for midsummer in Europe. I had a couple MH bookings to use up, still have CX MXP-HKG in F on two separate days and a J out of YYZ-HKG and ... wtf I'm just booking everything

To make it worse, I now have a confirmed seat on QF128 with the rest of you in F, I'll be 1K. Cheers.
