Ugh, I'm still a mess with multiple bookings. I'm thinking about flying in now on UL to HK or CAN then out of KL or SIN to get back for midsummer in Europe. I had a couple MH bookings to use up, still have CX MXP-HKG in F on two separate days and a J out of YYZ-HKG and ... wtf I'm just booking everything

To make it worse, I now have a confirmed seat on QF128 with the rest of you in F, I'll be 1K. Cheers.
You just need to keep up... with yourself!

HA, I have far too many bookings in my head. Now I think I'll abandon UL and do another run on MH F. Quality over quantity in a way.

If we secure the majority of the F cabin does that mean we can drag everybody into zone A like last time?

Nice work.

I'm in J on QF128 unless I happen to score an op up. But I know where the stairs are;)

Well this little WP1 is in whY. At least I'm in 80A. :)

I've thought and thought about an upgrade request, but I think it's healthy to savour the pointy end more if I take a refresher course in life before I found AFF. :)

Sounds like what I did the weekend just passed - LHR-DXB-PER-DXB-LHR in whY over 4 days

At least my short trip to SIN/HKG is in whY+.

I guess we are meeting up in the Wing F lounge ~2:00pm?

Good to see we start off in the best lounge at HKG airport so by the time we reach The Cabin, The Haven, the Pier I will be bored and just want to rush back to the Wing F lounge!

Not quite.

Wonder if we can pay a couple of the buggies to be on call to shuttle/roll us between the lounges :)

As I have heard no objections to going to the all-you-can-eat dim sum at W Hotel (Sing Yin Cantonese Dining) for Sunday morning 8 June. This starts at 9.30am sharp, and finishes by 11am. I have made a booking under my name (Andy) for 9 pax. Obviously, for a Chinese place, it's easy to +/- a few pax so if you feel hungry in the morning, just turn up! Cost is $195HKD + 10% service charges = $214.50 HKD (~$30 AUD). See you all there.

.. and for those Brits coming, it's ~£16.50

 Was it you that was on 32B froggerADL?? I've heard of the in flight drama between Medhead and you about seat 4D in qf domestic!

No, it wasn't me. I get free exit row seats. Neither of us are intending to stay in Y so it probably doesn't matter.

Oh, and I like your suggestion for dinner.

Plans changed again due to Marshall law in Thailand, I will now be in HKG from Thursday night coming in on QF 127 upgrade to F confirmed, will find out Sunday if I get one for 128

I think I'm definite for dinner no matter what is planned but not for brunch.

Don't want to scare to many people away with my evilness. ;)

I should add that, with the slightly earlier yum cha time slot, we would expect to arrive the lounges at roughly 12:30pm, so feel free to drop by earlier if you're free. :)

Long day for Mal and I, roughly 10.5-11 hours in the lounges

I'm sure we can bring something up the stairs for you ;) would actually be nice to see the lounge used for once. I'm getting accustom to aircraft with onboard bars and what not. Looks like I won't have an empty A380 F cabin to myself this time tho!

I will be able to join for this whatever happens (:

Currently my main options are 1) arrive overnight and just make the day of it or 2) stay a couple nights in HK (probably at the W) and maybe spend a day exploring New Territories. I was thinking of Macau but nah. I've barely spent any time in HK in the past year but with my studies ending in the next week it's probably best and frugal if I make it just a day trip then head back later in June.

Either way I've been putting off calling CX for months to fix these damn tickets, they're fully flex, I'm just lazy. Going to do it now!!!

Also a reminder to everyone on arrival, if you haven't got a frequent traveller e-channel entry thing you should get it. I think QF Gold or Plat still qualifies?

Is that something they hand out on board? I'm not sure how to get it otherwise. I don't think I'm eligible for the APEC card thing (if it still even exists).

Anyone in F who can score me a pair of pyjamas L/XL for a friend of mine, I would be v grateful :p
