There's one at #154 which I will get around to updating at some point.

Perhaps if everyone completes the details on the spread sheet (#187 on page 12) that will make things easier with all the necessary information in the one place and little or no chasing up required.

What's the restaurant for yum cha on Sunday morning? If there's nothing finalized I can heartily recommend the W for all you can eat yum cha buffet.

Heard it's delicious but I need to save my premium stomach space to try the food at the lounges. :)

Sad to say but lounge food is usually not up to restaurant standards at HKG ... even at The Wing F.

If you want to try authentic dim sum the airport isn't ty the place to do it :)

For me QF F Syd still has the best lounge food going.

I was thinking of the Lei Garden at the shopping mall attached to Kowloon Station. Of course, bookings aren't "finalised" as such in Hong Kong - it's not like we prepay for anything, and there's always someone else keen to take the table.

Do we prefer the W instead then? Prices would be similar, and I think it's better quality and it's all-you-can-eat so it's better for our money, but we need to be there at 9.30am. To be honest, I wasn't aware of this before, and it sounds like an excellent deal. :) (I'm assuming it's the place on 1/F). Note that the W is also linked to the whole Airport Express station complex/shopping mall.

Anyway, leave a post here if there are any issues if we go to the W instead, noting the early meeting time of 9.30am. If I don't hear anything from anyone against this, I'll confirm it with W next week.

It's also 5 Asia Miles per $8 HKD spent (for 1 account only, of course). I'm assuming that it can be earned on the breakfast buffet as well. I can take the miles if nobody else wants it, but it's not my main program so happy to let someone else take it and make better use of it.

That's an excellent earn rate..i wouldn't be shy about putting my hand up for those miles given its my main program :) I am closing in rapidly on a one world award so they'd be going to a good home.

No worries. They're yours. :)

Roast lamb/pork or beef steak in one of the CX First lounges is great for someone who doesn't like Asian food. And then the Cabin has smoked salmon.

A Carlsberg or similar in each lounge and I am a happy man. ;)

First time in the updated QF HKG Lounge, sitting there at the moment. Looks like it's fish on the menu for tonight. Will get to see it in half an hour's time. And it's an interesting choice of wifi password, as it belongs to a flight number which used to operate from HKG to SYD before it was enhanced. Nevertheless, very quiet at the moment, and a good view of QF98, the A330 (Port Macquarie) heading to BNE, and QF128 at the next gate, Nancy to SYD, with the hills of Lantau in the background, clouds covering the tops. The lounge actually works quite well for what it is, although the style won't suit everyone. It's definitely bigger than the pre-updated version, with a back door and a children's area at the very back.

This should act as a nice finishing point for the crawl, and I'm wondering if I should check with the lounge staff if we can book out the round dinner table for our use.
