Harbour Plaza North Point is a good choice - going for 114USD on Agoda at present

If people are staying the Saturday night and something is being organised we will fly back from BKK on the Saturday.

I will be there Saturday night but I think will arrive late unless something is organised.

Plan is BKK-HKG-MNL-HKG on Saturday arriving about 10:00pm. Could look at earlier flights. .

Anyone staying in HKG on the 7th? Hotel?

I haven't sorted out my plans yet as I might be going over to PVG to visit a friend. But I am more likely to stay in Tsim sha tsui (excuse spelling) than on HK island because I like the view of the island from Kowloon better than the reverse.

I'm going over to Macau for the Saturday night, if I make it back in time for the lounge crawl it will be a miracle ;)

Anyone interested in tagging along is most welcome.

Flights just booked after a good six months of investigation. It is 8 June?

Now to decide on A380 Y seat.

QF 128 on the 8th I hope so I am in 11A with an f upgrade in so will bring you a Tattenger

That's a relief. I have no idea which seats to take. Probably 80A on the way up. Upper deck on the way back row 32 any good?

True but I will make sure we can all have Champagne upstairs in the lounge. I will do a DYKWWA. Lol

. Upper deck on the way back row 32 any good?

I had 32JK some weeks ago on QF128.

Slept well for 6 hrs

No cut out but legs were not cramped either (175 cm)

If by yourself need to decide aisle or window (with storage locker).

Window pax needs to step over the aisle one, too tight to avoid.

We stayed at Hotel ICON - magnificent harbour view and large room.

Thanks for the tips on seats and such.

I used to be indecisive but now I'm not so sure....

I'm in 80A on the 8th :)

I noticed that ;) I might try it on the 7th then, would like to try it. But then I think seats in the first couple of rows are also open.

I might try the window on the way back, if there is a side storage. At 181cm the legroom should be fine, especially if lounge usage is an option.

I'll check out the hotel.

I just noticed I have an exam on the 5th and it's the national day on the 6th, might be drinking worthy. I'll try to head out on the 7th but ex-MXP on CX it is F2 A0, the cabin is empty on the prior day. Will see what happens. Have three months off after that so need to plan my destination after that!

I may be staying at the Shang. Discount offer on points redemptions just came in.

*goes off to find an extra 150 golden circle points.
