HKG lounge crawl 8 June 2014

I'm arriving into HKG about 12.30pm on the 8th, from PVG. A few hours lounge time

ICN-TPE-HKG-BKK on 08 June where I arrive into HKG ~1:45pm and depart ~8:00pm

Still looking at flights, but for the late comers, MH has a special ex-SIN, $1080 SGD ($950 AUD) SIN-xKUL-HKG in J. The 240 SCs are tempting.

Most would be departing on Qantas flights around that time. Qantas flights allowing entry to EK lounge.

It is only difficult if you are trying to fly QF.

Lols. I can likely fly 'QF' for the entire journey. Either emirates codeshare via DXB or Qantas Via DXB and change to Emirates (I suspect, haven't checked).

I had to reschedule my Easter holiday to Hkg so decided to change it to coincide with this run. Super excited! Flying PE but what are the chances of an upgrade on QF128, considering there will be a large number of AFF members on this flight?

I have a person travelling with me who is in PE and is upgrading to J on my WP 1 status.

The A380 is a big plane, and some are flying in Y, I believe. Definitely worth a shot (although they won't like you very much at the conclusion of the trip).

Can't make the 8th, but I'll be transiting on Monday 9th if anyone's still around.

I can guest as well, but haven't decided on my flight out yet - either going straight back to SIN, or doing an overnight in KUL and flying out first light back to SIN (my office is 5 mins away from the airport). Not a QF flight, obviously, so probably won't see me in the EK lounge. Hotel booked for Sat night in HKG.

By the way, who is in town on Sunday morning? Perhaps a dim sum brunch before jumping onto the airport express if there's enough interest?

PE on CX or BA ex LHR is currently circa $A2000, with econ being about $A500 cheaper.
Hmm. Still doing the sums and nutting things out. But hopefully I will fly into Hkg afternoon on Sat and fly out very late Sun night.
