How does Accor treat you as an Elite guest?

Parking for a 24 hours period is $47 for self parking or $57 for valet - located right under Sofitel Brisbane.
I don't think you can get away with it or pay less (I tried as Accor Plus Platinum last time I was there and was politely reminded the above rates are already discounted for hotel guests...)

The other convenience with the Sofitel Brisbane is that it is right on top of Central station.. so if I have meetings in the CBD I just take the train straight from the airport to the Sofitel... certainly my favourite hotel in Brisbane :)

There is a public parking station across the road that I charges $5 overnight or $5 all day weekends that is an option, but I've always used the valet, and I don't pay $57. Push a bit harder by talking to a manager prior to your stay.

Sorry, too lazy to fill out the full report sheet.

As Accor Gold, last 5 stays:

* Sebel Flinders Lane, Melbourne
* Ibis King St Wharf, Sydney
* Novotel Dubai World Trace Centre
* Swanston Grand Mercure, Melbourne
* Pullman on Hyde Park, Sydney

Upgrade each time except Swanston (a horrid place)
Welcome drink voucher each time
Free internet each time
Fruit platter OR some other food each time
Water each time

Best for 'status benefits' was, not surprisingly, the Pullman.

General comments: missing some of the little things you start to expect when traveling as plat. room service one night ordered steak, took an hour to come and no steak knife. second night ate in rest but told cant take order till after 7:30pm due to large group being in. no sheer curtains on road facing rooms and no curtains on bathroom that fronts onto walkway. this hotel has the potential to be the best in Echuca but needs to look at all the 1% that add up. ***1/2 stars
