How does Accor treat you as an Elite guest?

Property: Playford Adelaide
Status: Platinum
Room Booked: Standard queen
Room Upgrade: Suite
Rate: Members Advance
Internet: yes, free
Welcome drink: Yes: voucher for $25 !!
Other: Bottle of water plus small chockies in room; all room settings per my profile

Early/late check-out: Available, not required

In addition, a 'Welcome back for your second stay ...' letter from the manager. This place has perhaps the best elite recognition of any Accor I've been in.

What do I do wrong in this hotel? I stay here regularly and hardly ever get an upgrade.

I would say that the $25 drink vouchers pretty much match the price of drinks - but at least you can get any drink you want, and not just house wine.

The restaurant is always fantastic.

Status: Platinum
Room booked: Standard
Upgrade: Junior "suite"
Free wifi: Yes, unlimited
Drink: 1 x welcome
VIP: Small bottle of sparkling water delivered to the room, 1 hr early check-in
Notes:
Very friendly staff. In hotel dining options very pricey, not good value. No heating! Froze first night with room temp turned up to 28 - next day reception told me that the aircon system is cooling only! They delivered a small cheap portable heater but I was too worried it would catch fire in my room if I ran it all the time.

Well I think this might be a Perth thing... or maybe a 4 star Perth hotel thing.. currently freezing in The Four Points Sheraton :( Can't turn the heat up anymore than 23 but I am sure the AC isn't on :( I also had issues with this hotel with needing to get maintenance in to have the cooling on in summer... it is now in my profile that the AC be on before I check in..
