We knew that hotel was well booked because someone from the hotel called on Monday to check that we were still coming. SWMBO answered the phone and commented later that anyone who was taking someone else away for the weekend may have been unhappy to have their spouse take such a call.

We left Nelson Bay late morning after a fabulous 6 days with friends, cruising around, enjoying nice food and catching up with an old mate that flew Mirages. He always has a good story to tell.
We are now at Cessnock enjoying a Verdelho before we head up to the meet and greet.

Going to live vicariously through the thread this weekend - photos please.

Well Lazarus must have a daughter, because Annie was taken off life support on Wednesday and she came out of her induced coma, has been conscious talking to her family, but her blood numbers (white, platlets and bone marrow) aren't good so I'm still in a time warp. Still, my parents flew down to Sydney on Thursday to support my godparents for a week, so it still ruined our weekend.
