I'm feeling a bit sad ...[My SC's are getting wiped today... =( ]

I will say good bye to 1510 SCs tonight - unfortunately this year a large number of those the result of double status credits and a JASA status run, as work travel with Qantas dropped away. Still, at least I achieved 3 loyalty bonuses! I'm already thinking next year that I will be hoping for some generosity from Qantas to retain WP!!

I could get there on my own, but would appreciate a DSC to make a JASA trip, would certainly help get ahead... and I plan to shoot past 1200 next year :)

Tonight I wave a tearful goodbye to 2580 SC's :(
It's been a good year for me this year.
My biggest SC tally ever, and managed to get to LTS
A huge thankyou to all the gurus of AFF :D
Whilst I do a fair bit of flying its thanks to the tips I've learned here that I'm now maximizing my returns ;)

If I had known I would have tried to beat you. ;)

I earned 2,490 SCs.

My biggest SC tally ever and close to Lifetime Gold now.

I think you will have well beaten me in BIS miles :D
I think I will get to LTG in another 3 - 4 years if things go according to plan

2150 SC going tonight, a good thing really. As Sickeningthud said above, time to start earning the loyalty bonuses again.

Although I remember something from a few months ago where loyalty bonuses are only awarded where the SC's have been earned on QF flight numbers (meaning YUP SC's won't credit towards the 4 loyalty bonuses possible each membership year)?

A great achievement Princess!

I'm wiping 1,350 today - fortunately managed more than enough to retain WP, but only with a few JASAs!
I hit LTG this year, so the soft landing is sorbent-like!

...
How does it go?

That's 180 & 90 too many ... :p

In any case, congratulations and see you at LTG soon enough. :D

I can talk (/post) ... next week my tally will rise from 2150 to 2510 ... never intended those additional 110 SC's, but too be sure, my next QF booking is in November ... (Expiry Oct).

VA are going to see most of me 'til then ...

Those were the days

The last three years I've been enjoying life by the beach and have just stumbled over the 1200 mark. Time to get back into the game!

serfty, you are the master.

You hold the pebble in the hand and we are the grasshopper trying to grab it;)

My anniversary also, but I only 'lost' 1230 SCs. Pleased to have retained WP even if I had to do my first status runs to do so.

It was my anniversary too! 3630 SCs gone. I maintained P1 with a Y jetstar flight from Launceston to Melbourne... it didn't quite seem appropriate!

I'm feeling a bit sad...

that my 2580 status credits reset tonight. I know it's not as many as a lot of people on here, but still, i've done a lot of flying this year to get them and they feel like part of the family.

Since January 1.

Re: I'm feeling a bit sad...

The good thing is you can now look forward to your next travel & earn some more SC's

Re: I'm feeling a bit sad...

Much better to start the new year with a clean slate. ;)

And just think how excited you will be with all the planning and new travel....

Re: I'm feeling a bit sad...

Haven't you already got the annual DONEx planned and ready to begin tomorrow like I have on 1 September when FF year mine resets on 31 Aug?:p

The sweet JASA PER-JNB-PER for the Kenya safari/Rwanda gorilla trek I leave for on Monday night will bring my FF year SC tally to 3290. All SFSC (with a decent dollop of DSC to help things along :D).

Back on 22 Aug then the DONE4 1 September-20 October for which I expect 1660 SC, including three squiggle flights. Will pick up the final required squiggle on 26 November PER-SYD enroute to SCL for a Patagonia/Antarctica trip, back 22 December .

Sure, the SCs feel like part of the family but hey, it's good to build a new family every year .
