Agreed, when you first hit 2500SC it feels empty!

I didn't think loyalty programs swayed me that much until I realised I've been putting off any further travel until next month. Booked a $300 oneway to SIN on QF just before my anniversary date :@ so will have to enjoy Singapore for a few days before heading off.

Will be back to ~790 by the end of Oct. Not 100% sure of plans for the rest of the status year, hoping there'll be a work trip or two in there. Though that's always BFOD in Y.
 
Well I'll lose about 2,600 SCs today but am already on the way to requalification for next year. Currently in ASP half way through a DSC JASA that will net 480 SCs, Two of these by mid month and I'll have nearly requalified.

It has been an interesting year having done an FASA (LAX-SYD), several YUPPS and even redeemed AA miles to fly CX F. I hit all of the loyalty bonuses and took the 50,000 QF points for having hit 2,400 SCs. I also achieved LTS and (re)qualified for HHons Diamond having been comped by DJ.

Let's see what 2013 brings.
 
2400 SCs out the door for this little black duck. I just stop at the 2400 mark for PG to keep SWMBO happy.
 
I thought everyone had year end 31 Dec but it must just be me. I think about 160 SC out the door and none taken during the DSC options
 
Figured I should resurrect this, as I'm losing 1200 SC tonight. Might update the signature ;)

However, got flights booked on the first 3 days of the new membership year, so it's a good start!
 
mrsdoc gets her SCs wiped today.

Way short of gold retain, but upon request (she's very persuasive!), pointing out maternity leave 2 yrs ago and still retained, and this year avoiding work travel due to young child, and new job now with extra travel, plus forward bookings easily sufficient to retain by May, they comped her another year of gold.

Hmm... unfortunately my Warp drive is bust, so I can't get to those AA runs just yet ;)
