Lost 1880.
Having just made LTG, unlikely to make that many again!
If your review date is still July 31 2012 it means that you have not requalified, nor have you had status 'comped'.
Anecdotes indicate your status will hang in there for a few days, a week at most before dropping.
Whilst not flying anywhere near the numbers you did, I can relate. Managed to comfortably keep WP and VA WP.So, anniversary date is only a few days away now and a very interesting year it has been. Got off to a slow start and only just scraped in enough SC's to get a 5000 point bonus by November 30th but since then the travel has fairly rocketed along. Requalified for WP by the end of March, made LTG by the end of April, have collected all 4 x 8000 point bonuses and to cap it off finished up with 2475 SC's so received the 50,000 point bonus for that.
Furthermore, in between all the QF flying I also managed to retain WP on VA so a very busy year...I think I need a holiday now!!
You only earn points / SC's for the class originally booked with such upgrades.
Posted on a wing and a prayer ...
My measly 180 points expired today and I've got enough flights booked in the next week and a bit to have gotten me to QF silver - would have been my first foray out of bronze ever and was looking forward to it having just started flying reasonably regularly this year. Is it worth using points to do a premium economy to business upgrade on a SYD-PER-SYD for a status credit boost to start my new year?

Mind you, I never need an excuse to a) jump on a plane or b) take a holiday
September 1 is a sad day...
One day you have 3,880 status credits the next day you have a big 0,
Without purchasing a single J ticket throughout the year, the majority were either Red E or Any Seat Award.
