I'm feeling a bit sad ...[My SC's are getting wiped today... =( ]

I had about 420 hard earned all economy SC expire in June due to a temporary change of employment and less travelling, and fortunately got comped to Velocity Silver. When I queried Qantas about this they were of course adamant that there was no recourse from this expiry of SC, and I see other people have had a lot more SC's than that wiped out.

As I am travelling more now I think I'll instruct my employer to use Virgin Australia, which means I will also let my QP membership expire as well, so from my point of view I think QF have really kicked an "own goal" here.....

3620 on weekend, no WP1 in sight - not impressed! FIngers crossed there is a retrospective window...

And in about 80 minutes I will have 1,550 SCs wiped. I have actually had more SCs than FF points since I booked the JASA. :p

Still I already have 950 SCs booked for my next membership year starting with a QF flight on Sunday.

Of more importance is the commencement of the new method for loyalty points for SCs, 8,000 points for 500 SCs per membership year.

Not lost my SC’s yet, still inching closer to that magical 1400, but received my new card in the mail today, shame they’ll have to send a different coloured one shortly ;)

had similar experience not that many years ago - had several flights booked in a 2 week period that took me to platinum just before SC were due to expire.. gold card turned up and then a platinum the next day!! could never understand it.

Wow I am in such distinguished company! My SC's were wiped today also, though I am sure they were far less than Bundy and Tony Hancock. :D

There's some big numbers there...

And every year it starts at zero - history is irrelevant.

Whats with all you folks having 31st July as Anniversary dates?

And is the end of the month the norm for all QFF's? mines 31st December. I joined back in 98, how is it done these days, specific join date or end of the join month?

End of Join Month!

So you would have joined in December 1998.
