I log on to QF this morning to see 0 SC...... 3895 gone over night. Oh well let it all begin again!

(Although over the next 3 weeks I will already reach PS)

Well i said goodbye to 70 SCs overnight.-7 dom flights that couldn't be credited to AA.Though recently seem to be getting more Aa eligible codes.

Definitely the busiest flying year I've had and just managed to squeeze out a few more SCs to claim the 'bonus' gold membership for family/friends.

Now back to working out how best to retain for the coming year! Got a few Y trips on the books but that's it - think I'll have to work my way to US again.

Interesting, the webpage now shows me how many segments I have flown on QF/JQ.

It does that until you get the 4 segments required for status levels. After that it vanishes again.

I'm only having 1445SC's expire this year. 6271SC's for lifetime. LTPS will be mine this year (not that it means much anymore, but at least no queueing with said 'Plebs' for international flights at least )

WP uni-bum here :mrgreen: as well as a *G. So anything is possible.

In saying that, I'm coming up to 3 years on my postgrad, so the heat will be on me this year to finish. No more bumming after that...

My Status point year ends in August 2011, before then I'll go Q Gold for 1st time, does this continue on for following year?, or are they wiped each year or so?.

Your anticipated SG status will be good until at least August 2012.

However, Your SC's will be "Wiped" 31 Aug this year and you recommence the qualification process for status post Aug 2012.

Get an additional 700 SC's before end of August (on top of those that qualify you for SG) and you will have WP until August 2012 and at least Gold until August. 2013. Get those after August and you will be at least SG until August. 2013.

1540 credits wiped. Quiet-ish year for me.

I think this is going to be my last year of being loyal to QF. My plan is to retain platinum for 1 more year in anticipation of a LONE4/DONE4 in 2012.

I'm pretty sure that with a cheapest flight on the day strategy I could earn enough SC to retain gold - so that's how it's going to be after this year unless something great happens for WPs in terms of benefits.
