I'm feeling a bit sad ...[My SC's are getting wiped today... =( ]

As reported up the thread, 3290 went to the big SC vault in the sky on 31 Aug. 1720 already back in the account by 28 Oct. All SFSC. 10 years straight as WP and I don't intend to give it up without a fight :D.

I hear you. The end of the fin year saw 2435 drop off, my highest ever. End of a large contract means minimal flying this fin year. 2 years as WP will end. Not sure the QF comp gods will be that generous to add a year. Oh well The Wing F Lounge in a couple of weeks (pleasure) and possibly a trip or two to Melbourne (work) will be the extent of enjoying the WP perks for the remainder of this Fin year.
 
Don't forget everyone that QF places a review of the past 3 years (current year included) and averages the SC, for your "one time per status level" comp. So your average is important.

I've had my Gold & Plat ones, at least my floor is Silver :D (and slowly growing to Gold). I often look back at my AAccount and think what if I'd credited them to QF - probably be Gold now.

Still, forward or nothing, can't change the past

If I joined AFF/FT earlier I'm guessing I would have split my flying between AA and QF. Given it's taken me 17 years to achieve LTG - I'm glad I didn't:!:

If I'd known way back then what I subsequently came to know of was going on - irrespective of whether I was travelling - I would have tripled my flying to hasten the process :p:p:p :mrgreen:. Quite a while ago now and life's never been better :D:D:D:D.
 
Went down to Bronze last week. Funny thing is, I have at least 300 SC coming up in next three weeks so will go back to Silver within the month!!
That means I get another pass, which was the only useful thing about Silver during my 18 months tenure.
Other than that I didn't get to use the privileges once during that time!
Oh, will I get more luggage tags?

Probably - you should see the pile my PG has - a new set every time she goes PG. It's been rolling over for several years now but the QF system obviously sees PG as a unique-to-year thing :rolleyes:. She's had a new set each year since the introduction of the smart tags. More for the kids...
 
Well 3,895 SCs will be wiped tonight. I've said this for the last three years but I really cannot see me beating this next year. But I can try and only 2,200 SCs until I hit LTG. All being well I'll make it in my next membership year.

Assuming you're not going back to back WP1.....I'd think about doing the soft drop to WP (if they do that) and save the points/money for the year after.....

6920 status credits for 2013. The fun begins all over again.

1525 SC got scrubbed from me last night . First time to WP last year, hopefully I can hit that magic 1200 SC again this year. Well that's the plan anyway.

Feeling sad about the 2455 wiped yesterday, but should make the 1200 for the year and keep WP for another 12 months. Fingers crossed.
 
250 points gone. Closest I ever came to earning status. Still I have Marco Polo Gold from the Amex Platinum so I will enjoy it for my one year!!
