Velocity members are not so intrigued given they have been able to do it since 2008
Maybe so, but those points are useless to me

Step 1 in a multi staged programme to spin QFFP away from the airlines?!
And many people here complain about how VA is amateur hour, yet QF are now emulating them?
For the record I hope QFF doesn't get sold. Having seen the mess that is Aeroplan, it's not good for the customer.
How much regular eBay shopping do you do??
I just buy the odd plug, adaptor etc have you found some way to do more regular weekly shopping on it???
A couple of the bigger stores now have Ebay portals. For example I have bought stuff from DSE and Super Cheap Auto via Ebay.
AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements
Ok that could be slightly interesting, I've had a look on eBay to see if I could get much of anything I regularly buy and couldn't see anything, is DSE Disk Smith??
Hmmm, wonder what the rates/costs are for selling stuff on eBay?? And allowing people to pay by paypass...

It would be interesting to know how many active members they have, as I have no doubt a large proportion of the 10 million would have 0 points in their account due to inactivity.
Hmmmm, one can only imagine the number of points required for a premium toaster eh if even the cheapies are somewhat eye watering...
Pity they can't get coles or woolies or something you would use more day to day, but I guess they aren't premium enough...
Premium Toasters are hard to find but Basic ones are far easier. Maybe you should search for your "Toaster" 355 days out.
Never mind toasters, I was trying to buy some 'Cotton Dockers' from Macys but no can do, or Tommy Hilfiger clothes which were on sale ??? Not shipping to Aust perhaps ??
I'm actually quite surprised at the lack of Australian retailers on that site, compared to how many are UK or USA based. I would have expected many more.
I'm pretty happy about the DJ's offer. Combining it with payment via my DJ's Plat Amex will earn a very tidy 8 points per $

Yes a very valid comment, maybe some have adopted a 'wait and see' approach....
Wow, well done. That works out great for you.
However, if the above combination is an indication of how many points are going to be on offer per $ spent (outside any special/bonus offers). Its a sign of some serious devaluation of points spend rates in the near future.
