I am years out of date so that is possible. However the W.A Dept. Of Agriculture still has a photo of a beagle on their website.Ive heard the Labs have taken over the Beagles. Could be wrong
Got me thinking so I looked at Federal Dept of Ag re biosecurity detector dogsphoto of a beagle on their website.
Thanks for that. I am indeed out of date.Got me thinking so I looked at Federal Dept of Ag re biosecurity detector dogs
Anyone seen this in action yet or more updates on when it might start?
Why on earth the Feds are linking this with an airline rather than just a simple generic online application. It will require every airline to change their app to accommodate it. Stupid unnecessary requirement. The Australian government and Qantas have begun a trial of the new Australia Travel Declaration, staring with flights from New Zealand to Brisbane. This should mark the beginning of the end for those yellow paper forms.
Australia's Incoming Passenger Card Finally on the Way Out
The Australian government is finally phasing out the Incoming Passenger Card, replacing it with a digital Australia Travel Declaration (ATD).www.australianfrequentflyer.com.au

I think the purpose is to test out the functionality before developing the app.Why on earth the Feds are linking this with an airline rather than just a simple generic online application. It will require every airline to change their app to accommodate it. Stupid unnecessary requirement.
I believe it is only during the trial period. It will likely be a government websites/appWhy on earth the Feds are linking this with an airline rather than just a simple generic online application. It will require every airline to change their app to accommodate it. Stupid unnecessary requirement.
They'll still use paper. This is a trial atm.How does the digital system work for my children who don't have their own phones?
Even Bali has it! That is embarrassing. Works extremely well, even those with kids. And still useless to families with children. Absolutely embarrassing for Border Farce that even the USA is far more competent at this.

I suspect its web based and qf just implemented a non archived / private page into the app.Why on earth the Feds are linking this with an airline rather than just a simple generic online application. Yep. That’s what Bali has. One per family. Simples.I'd also like to see 1 declaration for families travelling together, and not having to triplicate everything
They are just using BNE for trials. Just less pax volume overall means an easier and smoother trial. So has anyone used it yet? I saw on the Tele last night that it had started (interviewing arriving PAX)!
I’d only read the day before that it was coming as a trial on flights from NZ.
Alas, only BNE flights for the trial? I suspect my AKL-SYD flight next week won’t be in the mix…
