On Wednesday 1 June during the evening, SYD appeared to again be on restricted runway operations.

JQ766, the 2025 hours SYD - ADL (A320 VH-VFJ) may breach the ADL curfew if it operates, as it had not taken off by 2216 hours. I don't know if it has an exemption from the Federal Minister's delegate to arrive post-2300 hours. There looked to be an airport vehicle beside the aircraft that I assume isn't a good sign.

The 0910 hours JQ43 (MEL - DPS) is expected to depart 140 minutes late at 1130 hours.

JQ29 (the afternoon 1315 hours MEL - BKK) is predicted to push back at 1530.

JQi must be having a few problems with its B788 fleet.

I am informed that JQ 'systems' are down at MEL (and possibly elsewhere) so there may be manual check-in occurring.

JQ938 (A321 VH-VWQ, the 0630 hours MEL - CNS) took off at 0810 with suggested arrival 1104 hours, 74 minutes late.

JQ38 (B788 VH-VKJ, the 2235 hours redeye from DPS down to SYD) was airborne at 0108 hours, arriving at 0850, 155 minutes past the timetable. I assume it's off to NAN.

JQ continues to have many unpunctual domestic and international flights.

On Tuesday 5 July 2022, JQ603 (A320 VH-VGT, the 0700 hours SYD - AVV) did not take off until 0934 so predicted arrival has become 1041 hours, 126 minutes late.

JQ435 from OOL down to MEL has VH-VFT and should also arrive at 1026, give or take a couple of minutes, so it's 41 minutes tardy.

JQ504 is the 0815 hours MEL - SYD up up and away at 0916 hours with VH-YXV, another A320. It's also 41 minutes late, and - you guessed it - suggested as arriving at 1026 hours.

A320 VH-VGA is operating JQ840, the Wednesday 6 July 1110 hours late morning SYD - PPP that is a daily frequency. It had yet to take off by 1613 hours, so may well be five hours or more later than the scheduled time of arrival of 1335. A late dinner awaits Queenslanders who want to start their evening meal by 1730!

On Monday, thsi aircraft operated the same flight but diverted to TSV.

While not alone, JQd (and JQi) have had much unpunctuality in recent days. Sydney's tropical-like rain for a few days (not today though) can't have helped.
