Jetstar Delays/Cancellations

On Thursday 6 September, JQ531, teh early morning 0640 hours SYD down to MEL did not take off until 0744. A321 VH-VWN should be at its destination gate at 0900 hours, 45 late.
 
Later on 6 September, JQ712 (A320 VH-VFI, the 1440 hours mid afternoon HBA up to MEL that was in the sky at 1505) is arriving at 1628, 33 late.
 
In another for 6 September 2018, JQ744 from LST up to MEL, the 1815 hours that was airborne at 1855 (A320 VH-VFO) is arriving at 2002 hours, 42 minutes late.
 
JQ607, the afternoon Friday 7 September 1535 hours SYD southbound down to AVV that took off at 1659 (A320 VH-VQF) should arrive at 1815 hours, 65 late.
 
In more on what is a very wet Friday 7 September 2018 in SYD (with earlier problems as lightning strikes were possible), JQ423, the 1700 hours OOL down to SYD was airborne at 1741 with arrival estimated at 1923, 53 late. This is a 'moderate' delay compared with that for many other flights tonight.

Showing this, JQ523 from SYD down to MEL, the 1600 hours with 220 seat A321 VH-VWU was pointing skywards at 1911, meaning anticipated arrival at 2028 hours, 173 late.

JQ3, the 1625 hours SYD up to HNL is following closely as B788 VH-VKG took off at 1914, about two and a half hours tardy.

JQ37 (1640 hours SYD up to DPS, VH-VKA) took off at roughly 2006 so arrival is likely about three hours late.

Later on Friday 7 September, JQ527 (2040 hours mid evening SYD down to MEL took off at 2208 hours with A321 VH-VWQ) so arrival shoud be at about 2315, 55 late.
 
Due to the lightning strikes yesterday and shocking conditions in SYD, JQ37 was badly late so no surprise that on Saturday 8 September, JQ38 from DPS back to SYD arrived at 0918, 183 late with B788 VH-VKA.

JQ430 (0600 hours MEL - OOL, A321 VH-VWT) took off at a very late 0811 so arrival has become a suggested 1016 hours, 136 late.

The 0910 hours BNK down to SYD, JQ457 (A320 VH-VQW) was airborne at 1008 so arrival should be at 1118 hours, 43 late.

Sunday 9 September 2018 finds JQ785, the 1145 hours MCY - SYD taking off at 1448 with A320 VH-VGU. Arrival is at 1616 hours, 171 minute slate.
 
A321 VH-VWZ on Sunday 9 September's JQ576 from MEL up to BNE, the late afternoon 1735 hours airborne at 1942 should arrive at 2136 tonight, 111 minutes tardy.
 
VH-VKA on JQ11, the initial SYD - OOL leg of the NRT flight is the 0750 hours ex SYD. However on Monday 10 September, it did not take off until after 0900.
 
JQ768 (Wednesday 12 September 2018, the 1555 hours SYD - ADL that took off at 1744) has A320 VH-VGF and should arrive at 1901 tonight, 86 minutes tardy.
 
JQ127 (Friday 14 September, the 1905 hours ADL up to DPS with A320 VH-VGA) took off at 1936 but expected 2320 arrival will be 35 late.
 
Sunday 16 September 2018 has JQ576 (1735 hours late afternoon MEL - BNE that was in the sky at 1936 with A321 Vh-VWX) likely to arrive at 2034, 49 late.
 
JQ531 (Tuesday 18 September, the 0640 hours SYD down to MEL that did not take off until 0743, A321 VH-VWN) should arrive at 0909 hours, 54 late. Better than yesterday when the flight was cancelled.

JQ524 (0855 hours MEL back up to SYD) should be able to push back at roughly 0945.

JQ503 (0700 hours SYD down to MEL) did not become airborne until 0757 so arrival of A320 VH-VGF is delayed until 0923 hours, 48 late.

Updating VH-VWN's flights from the previous post, on 18 September it then ran JQ524, taking off at 1025, 90 minutes after timetabled pushback in MEL. SYD arrival was at 1132, 72 late. Currently the aircraft is on JQ824, the 1100 hours late morning SYD - BNE that was airborne at 1219 for suggested arrival at 1327, 57 late. Next flight is JQ825, the 1310 hours BNE back down to SYD that will be lucky to push back by 1400.

While some rosters may be slacker on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, this one may not be as so far the aircraft has been unable to pick up time. I can't see what other flights it is supposed to undertake this arvo and evening to ascertain whether it has a big break anywhere.

VH-VQH on JQ474 (1210 hours MEL - NTL) was airborne at 1347. Expected arrival is 1505 miod afternoon, 85 late.

A321 VH-VWU on Wednesday 19 September's JQ560 (0820 hours MEL - BNE) took off at 0912 so expected arrival is 34 late at 1104 this morning.
 
Saturday 22 September 2018 sees JQ109, the scheduled 1150 hours DPS down to PER that was airborne at 1251 likely to arrive at 1609 this afternoon, 39 late and just in time to observe what looks like a magnificent AFL victory by the Weagles.
 
JQ28 from HKT down to SYD should arrive on Sunday 23 September at 1058 hours, 53 late.

A321 VH-VWX on JQ524, the 0855 hours MEL - SYD did not take off until 0944, so arrival is at 1050, half an hour behind the timetable.

The 0930 hours SYD - OOL (JQ406, A320 VH-VFU) had yet to become airborne as at 1055.
