22 days does seem to be the going rate

I was on the same flight as Bundy Bear, and got the 22 days for that flight as well

The Jetsaver fare was 21Jan/12Feb.

Hello all,
I was reading this thread with interest. On 23rd Jan I took a 3K flight MNL-SIN on a JetFlex ticket specifically for the SC. The Pts/SC credited today(14th Jan). Seemingly the 22days is correct...
Although my daughter was on the same flight as part of a Qantas itinerary...and hers have not credited. Maybe I will have to scan the BP to QF as someone mentioned 3K isnt on the list for claiming missing Pts online (AA isnt either??? Why?)

Slightly OT, can anyone tell me if a 3K flight not acruing Pts/SC would be one of the 4 elidgible flights for status. She will make Silver with any flight she takes as she has enough SC, but needs 1 more elidgible flight and I was hoping the 3K would do it.

Thanks
Ash

I would imagine no SC's/points = no to eligible segments. I believe its the same for JQ flight numbers.

22 Nov posted 18 Dec - 24 days, although I waited over a week before putting in a missing points request (booked via QF with FF# in booking).

1 Dec posted 21 Dec - 20 days, request put in at 3 days, booked via JQ with FF# in booking.

2 Dec posted 21 Dec - 19 days, request put in at 3 days, booked via JQ with FF# in booking.

Sorry to debunk the 22 days, although they are all close to that, and has already been mentioned - not god enough!

Has anybody had points post without putting in a request?

Yes (thought I mentioned this, maybe the other thread)

21 May, 27 May 6 days
28 May, 5 Jun 8 days
21 Nov, 18 Dec 27 days
15 Jan, 6 Feb 2011 22 days

I dare say something has changed since last May.

Yes, no points claims involved

My flight from Mel to Sin was on 19 Dec and I am still waiting for my points. I was told not to worry as it is not going to affect my status.

I believe 3K accrue points & SC if it is Jetflex. i hope so anyway as I did one in Dec and am waiting for the points.

If I were you I would be sending scans of your Boarding passes for these flights attached to an email requesting credit to frequent_flyer(a)Qantas.com.au ASAP.

I've followed up this particular issue with Qantas Frequent Flyer.

When Members earn points with Qantas Frequent Flyer partners, this is dependent on the partner supplying transaction details to Qantas Frequent Flyer, so that the activity can be credited in Members' accounts.

In relation to Jetstar, there was a server change, which affected automatic crediting of their flights in Qantas Frequent Flyer at the end of last year, causing a delay, which some of you have experienced. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

This particular issue has been subsequently resolved and flight transactions are being processed to schedule as they are received. Having said that, I have passed on your comments regarding the time it takes for JQ flights to credit in general.

Placed a missing points claim this evening, flew BNE/CNS JQ942 1st Feb (Jetflex).

Thanks for the follow up and passing on comments.

I did notice today when I was sniffing around the Qantas website that it does say points (from program partners) may take upto 8 weeks to post, underneath the icons on the "your account" page. I have seen some people get a bit concerned as they are close to their anniversary and don't realise that the points are backdated to the departure date.

Red Roo, are you saying that this particular problem was "at the end of last year" and that all flights from 2011 onwards should be posted promptly (ie, within 5-7 working days)?

I had a JQ flight mid last year and l still had to claim missing points through the QF website? As others on AFF have posted, how hard can it be to post points to your sister airline? Common... It's bad enough when l search for an award booking on the QF website and more than 50% of the flights returned are on JQ, at least get the FFP's situation in order.

All flights this year are being processed to schedule after receipt of information from Jetstar, i.e. Qantas Frequent Flyer is receiving the regular feed of flight transaction information required.

I have passed on the message to Qantas Frequent Flyer regarding Jetstar transaction posting times, as this is taking longer than what you would expect. As noted previously, Qantas Frequent Flyer can only credit transactions after it receives transactional data from partners.

Great news. I suppose with more and more JQ and 3K expansion plans, it would be necessary to upgrade the FFP's and SC transfer schedule of JQ.

Question 2
Can there be a "Tick this Box" to "exclude JQ Flights" inserted into the QF online search tool?

From Flyertalk...(Why people are loosing faith with QF - recent 'enhancements' and still no news on the loyalty program either...)

How can Qantas improve its 'relevance' and stop its decline?

Once the JQ/3K 787 start arriving in force, I believe QF management will look to reduce the QF Int footprint to current 380/747 routes exclusively (SYD/MEL/BNE-LAX and SYD/MEL-LHR via SIN/HKG/BKK), with the exception of the 737 Jetconnect Trans-tasman services. Therefore, those of us who do not live in SYD/MEL will be luckly to see a QF Int aircraft in a few years time. Current QF 330/767 Int routes would be replaced by JQ/3K 787 services (PER/BNE/ADL-SIN/HKG and PER/SYD/MEL-NRT for example) flown by Asian based crew (like the MEL-SIN example outlined above).

A small benefit from these changes would be a slight upgrade in the service provided by JQ/3K. To make the above changes plausible (particularly to those who will lose all QF Int service), JQ/3K would become an associate member of Oneworld, some more fare classes would earn QF FF points (probably at 0.5 points/mile however), the ability to book JQ/3K services on a single PNR with other airlines and QF/OW FF status benefits would apply on international JQ/3K services (priority seating/boarding/baggage etc).

Alan Joyce and his management mates believe JQ/3K is the only way forward for the QF group and QF customers will be dragged along wether we like it or not. It will be interesting how the reduction (or destruction?) in QF service will turn out in the long run. IMHO, as a full service airline, QF has a chance against the competition. But as a LCC with JQ/3K, others can do it cheaper and that is all customers in that segment care about.

The second time was on 29/1. Nothing yet, but I'm not in a hurry so I might leave it a month or two and see if they actually post before submitting a claim.

Ooh, they posted:
