Easy answer, the only award flights one would get with Asia miles on Qantas wold be 'classic' type awards which do not book into the earning classes.

e.g. Economy -> X!

And I’m guessing Business would go to an earning class that’s different to an Anyseat Award too.

QF Anyseat Awards can only be booked using QF FF points and not using Asia Miles.

Well, I think I would have known that, I just thought that it might be possible to book into the same class as them, but I guess they’d have that covered. Bugger!
