KLM matching Status

Actually, it's not saying "fly" but "booked flight".

You have until 31 July 2011 to take the respective flights (2 segments) to activate your status regardless of the booking class.

So based on the above, I doubt just booking would work.

Ive booked 2 segments on LH in June, and my account hasn't changed, I'm guessing it got lost in the translation, and they meant once those segments have been flown. Shame too would have liked to use the lounge on these flights

I'm actually going to Paris soon and might try and get in two LH sectors from CDG! Unfortunately I will be well short of UA status miles to get back to *G under my own steam and not split miles across to *A programmes

I still got squat as far as a real card in concerned. I did receive my match fairly late in the whole scheme of things, though. Luckily I have no use for it quite just yet.

Now waiting for VA to offer another WP status match to their new platinum level

At least you got a reply - I am still waiting for mine.. 6 months now!

I was amazed at the speed of the reply too, it came 3 hours after I sent the email.

I'd say your request has been lost somewhere... did you send the scanned copy of your WP card? Without that they'd probably not even bother with replying.

My last reply I received from them was they had forwarded my details ,(Inc WP card) to the right department and they'd be in touch... Still waiting for Velocity rewards rep to get back to me too!!

Got my card today! Just in time to fly out...not that I'll need it, but it's nice to have house in order.

Expiry is 03/2013 as reported.

Nice package and tags....but mega fail on the glue securing my card to the welcome letter. It hardened in transit, which forced me to peel the glue off the card once I had disconnected it from the welcome letter. Now my black card sports a big silver blotch on the back where the glue stuck it to the letter. #firstworldproblems
