That would have been awkward!Lucky I double checked the thread. Just been looking for flights for 7 March, not 7 June.

Medhead, it would be disastrous turning up in the wrong country for the lounge run! There're interesting trips to be had via QF/MH - PM me if interestedLucky I double checked the thread. Just been looking for flights for 7 March, not 7 June.

Although I was planning to make this one, alas something has come up, wife is due around that date. So I will watch this thread around June for pictures or I'll be in the delivery room
That's poor form... you had more than 9 months notice for the lounge crawl!
Congratulations on your new addition to the household. I have no doubt that he/she will learn the art of being a frequent flyer very soon.
Please ensure that the KUL-SIN sector is on MH. The QF codeshare is on 3K, and you won't be able to have a nice meal in the restaurant section of the MH F lounge.QF have sale fares to KUL and SIN for $660 and $649 respectively. Until 3/2.
Correction: foreign countries.I find myself seriously considering a lounge run in a foreign country for the first time!

Also, the lunch in SIN landside is still going ahead, assuming enough interests. Best to get on MH611 9:10am departure from KUL to maximise SIN lounges time. I would pencil in the Long Beach Main branch in the East Coast as they open at 11am on Sundays, unless there are other suggestions where they would open for Sunday lunch (extremely difficult to find).

The CX lounge in KUL isn't overly interesting, if anything, it's a 5-min drink and then head out. It's within close proximity to the MH satellite pair of J and F lounges. Then it's back to the MH regional lounge in the main terminal building via the APM, and that's all for OW (and we obviously won't have access to the dom lounge). The 0910 flight will mean quite an early start, especially for those who wish to visit more than one lounge in KUL. Would not the 1150 flight still allow time to head somewhere close for lunch? On the train by 1.30 for a 2pm meal and back by 4.30-5pm?
