Maybe because its irrelevant to me. Once safety blurb is finished I tune outThe blurb done just after that by the cabin crew.
I’ve never not heard it, given the discussion of this on AFF I’m alert to if.
That’s why I think J toilets should be cabin agnostic. This can be done by the Cabin crew quietly asking the ones queuing at back of line to use J if no queue there. A bit of flexibility is the name of the gameQF71 to Singapore yesterday. I was in row four so had a good view of what was happening. J toilets relatively well policed, but not 100%. Queue for the Y toilets almost stretched half the cabin at times. Was a nightmare for the cabin crew or anyone sitting in the rear 1/3 of the aircraft.

Well yes I agree which means that airlines don’t provide enough basic human facilities for economy passengers. Short haul is fair enough but we are talking a flight of several hours duration. Maybe it’s just not up to J class passengers in such events.I'm guessing if we did a poll and asked business class passengers if they agree with the above proposal the support might be fairly low. If we ask economy passengers the same question the results would swing the other way.

Queuing for toilets is not uncommon but you don’t see toilets elsewhere separated according to ability to pay or because The clientele of of a different “class”
Of course. But you have no other options to find another loo on a plane. And there’s more risk of illness too.Queuing for the loo isn't restricted to aircraft though. Sporting events (half time), the theatre (half time). It happens. Two toilets for economy on 738s and smaller is pretty standard. And longish flights aren't all that uncommon (US transcons, SIN-India, intra-Asia). The only real difference is the lack of a curtain or other barrier.
