Try editing your photo upload, renaming it as PNG/JPG or something 'normal'.
Cloudlfare can block file uploads sometimes.

I am currently Plat with Virgin and hold no status with Qantas. All my travel is self-funded with my 8 year old. I only really use Qantas to get from Whyalla to Adelaide and these flights are always with points. There are only a couple of flights per day so there is often a long layover. I have had good value from the Qantas Club membership but this is about to expire.
My reading of this is that for $80 USD I can gain lounge access on these flights ADL->WHY which is way cheaper than renewing the Qantas Club.
Does that seem like the correct interpretation?

No. This status will not grant you access to the Qantas Club on domestic QF flights.

You might consider “acquiring” once-off short dated QF Club access passes (transferred onto your booking from a family/community member) via the OzB Classifieds

That’s interesting because i was thinking of getting the status match exactly for that reason… access to QF Clubs prior to domestic flights.

The elite benefits say all Qantas VIP lounges are included, provided travel is in Qantas or LATAM, and Qantas’ domestic network is highlighted as a feature: Enjoy the benefits of flying with Qantas Airlines | LATAM Pass

Nope, my bad. I’ve confused the QF domestic lounge eligibility with something else. This partnership does have some interesting arrangements for International flights though.

That link makes it pretty clear to me. In which case, the status match is indeed a great option for Qantas Club access, @singledadtravels

I checked the Qantas website but I couldn’t find anything relating to LATAM status lounge access eligibility. Maybe that’s why I mistakenly thought it was a no-go

Most airlines are pretty lousy at displaying information about lounge access for elites other than their own and perhaps the alliance they belong to.

Qantas will show it for oneworld alliance and Emirates elites, but none others. That said, apart from LATAM I'm not sure what other airlines might have access to the Qantas lounges who are not displayed on the Qantas lounge access site.

I’ve been trying to work this out too. I thought this page might suggest that only Qantas international lounges are considered Qantas VIP lounges - https://www.latamairlines.com/au/en/experience/airport/vip-airport-lounges. But it’s all a bit unclear.

• Do i need to book on LATAM to get the benefits from their partner airlines like QF and JAL?

• What are possible JAL lounges that can be accessed? (Site says all JAL VIP lounges, but that's really vague).

If you are seeking partner benefits, you can book on the partner airlines.

Jury still out on LATAM access to qantas domestic lounges. The LATAM Pass page highlights the QF domestic network, and mentions lounge access before any qantas flight. Might need a QC member to ask next time they access a lounge?

JAL lounges would be business class lounges, or equivalent lowest tier.

Curious about this. Could someone get the HSBC Star alliance card to get gold which presumably would be status matched by Latam? Thus giving a simple way for people without Qantas status to access their lounge?

Hi - Can anyone confirm if LATAM Pass Black holders get access to QF lounges domestically when flying with QF? If so, do they get access to the Qantas Club, or business lounge?

Additionally, does anyone know if LATAM have soft-landings? I.e. if you were matched to black status level, would you then drop down to Platinum on the 31st of March, 2025?
