It'll take me about 5-6 more years at my current rate of travelling to reach LTG. I never thought I'd even reach LTS so who knows what the future will bring!

I'm at 13304. Thanks to a short holiday in January to HNL, I'll be doing a status run to PTY from there to get the SC's I need for LTG. Pity the exchange rate of AUD to USD is so low!

MrP was the same until a couple of years ago I got him back to WP (he'd dropped back to SG and was aware of how nice WP was). Suddenly on Emirates in particular we started getting really good upgrades. He says nuttin anymore.

Woo-hoo!!! LTG for me after today's flight (13997 with 40 to credit from this morning).
LTS in Oct 12, three years later and many posts read and absorbed on AFF and I'm there
Noticed the 0900 was an A330 business suite and asked nicely at check-in to be swapped to that flight.

+1 thinks all AFFers, including moi, are strange...that opinion hasn't change despite her meeting many AFFers...she tends to relate / grumble / commiserate with their +1s though . Before she met me, +1 had been to 2 countries including Australia....that total is now over 35!! When she starts protesting about why we need to apply for another credit card, or move hotels several times withn a week etc etc, I remind her that not many, if any, of her friends have been to Maldives or Bora Bora, and she has now been to BOTH!!:idea::idea:

kpc if you don't give up your day job we won't think you are strange. My partner was a bit worried when I corrupted a family man with a load of children. Then we get pictures from around the globe and it's all ok now. They are based in the US and have been running hot on flights and cruises.
