I've had a couple restaurant/cafe purchases that had a temporary hold of 20% for a couple days until the payment processed.

Several of my purchases were from restaurants/cafes, so that could be it. Will see if the situation resolves itself over the next few days. Thanks TomVexille.

so I my original intention was to purchase a ticket Syd-Paris return on my qantas card but due to the public holidays the money wouldnt show up till sometime late next week and I didnt want to risk losing out on the lowest qantas price, even though its still expensive and now I have missed out on the bonus points

But I did purchase a 186.80 EURO flight from Paris to Athens, just wondering seeing that equals $274 AUD, does that mean I get the 2500 bonus points?

cause it says spend AUD $250 or in foreign currency but would that mean I would need to spend $250 EURO??

I was going to qualify for the 2500 bonus points by paying a Vic Roads bill but I don't think the funds will arrive in my account before the due date of the bill due to all the public holidays. If the funds don't arrive I'll pay the bill with my usual credit card and use the Qantas Cash card to buy $250 Coles Group Gift Card at Target. I'll use the leftover funds towards buying discounted Wish cards from the RACV website.

Points from 'normal' qantas cash card transactions look to take 4 weeks or so to post. Not sure how long before the bonus points will post .

They take up to a month, points are swept on a monthly date.
