Background to this thread
We have noticed an increase in the posting of questions regarding what Airport Lounges are available at specific airports when travelling on specific airlines. While one can be assured of access at the airline lounge when travelling on that airline (provided you have Lounge membership), thing start to get complex when travelling on a codeshare or partner airline.

Posting Guidelines
Please post your questions about Lounge access in this thread. Be sure to include the airline you are travelling on, the airport (and terminal, if known), and any Airline Status or Airport Lounge membership programs you have.

When answering questions, please include the original question. This will assist in readability and management of the thread.

(Special thanks to Princess Fiona for suggesting this new thread.)

The short answer is yes you have access if there is a OW “Business” lounge available and your next onward flight is on a OW airline.

That includes AA and AS lounges in the US.

Is this lounge currently open? The website says it is closed. Flying in on QF9 Monday 26 September and I assume the AA arrivals lounge no longer takes Qantas flyers.

The Plaza premium arrivals at T3 LHR is still closed.
You can’t access the AA lounge.
There is an Aerotel in arrivals which might be an option.

Hi all,

Anyone know if I'll be able to get Lounge access with Singapore if my flights have LH numbers but SQ metal?

I'm flying FRA to SIN then SIN to ADL. I've got Virgin gold membership.

That’s a bit tricky I think.
Officially VA says you have access as operating carrier is SQ.
I’m not sure whether your BP will show your VA status on LH code. I think from memory that *A access if status based is paid by the pax FF program.

I’m on the fence on this one.
Hopefully someone has flown LH or other *A codeshares with VA status.

EDIT: Actually thinking about this further there is no SQ lounge at FRA. Only LH and the AC one upstairs. I’m fairly sure you will not have access to any lounge here as none are SQ.
Might have success in SIN

Flying QF9 MEL-PER-LHR next week. Is there enough time to go to the Qantas International Transit Lounge in Perth?

I have booked a flight SYD - WEL- NSN on a Qantas issued ticket, both flights have a QF number (QF161and QF8603). I am Qantas Gold.

Do I have access to the domestic AirNZ lounge in Wellington given it's ultimately a flight operated for Air New Zealand? I think the answer is no.

The answer is yes. Just because the flight is operated by a regional subsidiary makes no difference.

It's like how some flight are operated for Qantas by Alliance Airlines or QantasLink, you still get usual oneworld/qantas benefits on these flights.

Thanks - that’s the one I couldn’t not easily find! Truly Gold!
Thanks for making me aware of that sub topic - have not seen it before!

Hi flyers, seeking some advice as the qantas and LATAM websites are fairly vague.

Platinum FF flying QF27 (Y) to Santiago connecting to domestic LATAM flight. All booked through Qantas but my first domestic connection in Chile doesn’t seem to be a codeshare (all others are qf flight number codeshare).

Whats likelihood of lounge access in Santiago on arrival? (And i guess the reverse question on the way home).

If nothing are the paid lounges worth a look in?

Oneworld.com list two lounges in the internation departures area: Airport Lounges: oneworld Lounges & Airport Lounge Access

Latam.com doesn't list any domestic lounges for SCL.

Flying ex. ZQN as a QF WP in Y with Mrs H and Miss H.

As Manaia is a partner lounge, it’s seems my guest allowance is +1.

Any one know if there’s flexibility with children?

I’ve posted my -1 in the lounge meets thread.

Other suggestions to avoid having to leave Mrs H at the lounge entrance?😉🤣

I'll be QF gold flying on an award flight on Westjet from YYC to YVR, would I get lounge access as a gold?

Travelling for 15 weeks so definitely need checked luggage haha.

The Malindo flight will actually be an international, to HKT (to replace the MH cancelled flight, part of a OWCA). So after I collect my bags and check in for Malindo flight I will be able to go back into that same main international terminal as my Malindo flight will leave from there? And then should be able to show the lounge my arrival MH boarding pass and get lounge access (even if a couple hours after my MH flight arrival)?
Just as a data point for anyone in the future, I was granted access to the satellite golden lounge at KLIA based solely on my incoming flight being in business class (MH).
The lounge attendant asked me what flight I was departing on but I reminded them I have access based on business class inbound flight and they promptly let me go through.

Flying domestic QF J into Sydney (no status). Can I enter the J lounge on arrival. HLO

Sadly no.

Unlike VA, Qantas does not allow on-arrival lounge access for J tickets.
