Background to this thread
We have noticed an increase in the posting of questions regarding what Airport Lounges are available at specific airports when travelling on specific airlines. While one can be assured of access at the airline lounge when travelling on that airline (provided you have Lounge membership), thing start to get complex when travelling on a codeshare or partner airline.

Posting Guidelines
Please post your questions about Lounge access in this thread. Be sure to include the airline you are travelling on, the airport (and terminal, if known), and any Airline Status or Airport Lounge membership programs you have.

When answering questions, please include the original question. This will assist in readability and management of the thread.

(Special thanks to Princess Fiona for suggesting this new thread.)

I have a range of flights booked. I'll be SG and MrP WP.

First flight: Adl - Syd. Easy. Adelaide QP.

Second Flight: Syd -HK in J - I know that's THE first lounge in Sydney. (I actually changed my Adl-Syd flight to the night before as the original booking was less than an hour in Syd inc transit! :p)

Third Flight: HK - CDG in CX J booked as Q Award flight. A midnight departure. Which lounges as WP in J?

Next flight:FCO - Sin in SQ J. No current velocity status or Kris status. Which lounges in FCO?

Last flight: Sin - Adl in SQ J. Which lounge in Sin?

Thanks - I'll write it all out so I remember.

Silver kris lounge, Terminal 3, at the top of the escalators. (Do not get confused with any signs for the 'star gold' lounge - that's a general lounge for star gold in economy, and doesn't have the range of facilities in the Silver Kris lounge.)

Should be a nice TR of lounges then. :p

I flew LH J last year from FCO and was directed to a so-so contract lounge. This was in the Schengen area. Don't expect too much and you may be pleasantly surprised. ;)

You can access EK and QF J lounges. There is only one QF J lounge at MEL T2.

Hi all, Mid-late last year I booked flights to london with an EK flight number. I did this before QF changed access rules at the end of Oct, now I am paying for Qantas Club that I can't use, are there anyways around this short of cancelling and rebooking with QF flight number?

No there aren't as far as I'm aware.
Have you contacted QF to see if they will honour the lounge access conditions that existed when you booked the flight ?

EDIT: The changes were published by QF in July 2014, if you booked your flight after this date you will have no chance of sorting something out with them IMO

Does this still hold if the Pier F lounge is opened in time? Due May 2015.

I only visited The Wing F a couple of times last year, and found it to be quite adequate.

I'm sure there will be others who can comment on The (old) Pier F, and as to its reincarnation no one will know how it is until it opens in May. However I feel sure it won't disappoint. :D

Looking for advice on Priority Pass which I've never used before. Have internal flights in USA. I'm only OW Ruby, partner is Qantas Club paid member but we both have 2 Priority Passes each. What Lounges can we access in these airports? We land in LAX late, stay overnight and onwards flight to SFO next day.

LAX - SFO flying AA
SFO - LAS flying Southwest
LAS - JFK flying AA

thanks

hi there,

I am a QFF Platinum member. I have to fly this Friday BNE - AKL. I am booked on QF8770 (qantas flight number, but emirates a380 plane). I am assuming I am able to access the Qantas lounges in BNE airport and also the Emirates lounge there if I wanted to.

can someone confirm for me please? this is my first 'international' flight for a fair while and I'm out of the loop on what the requirements are these days.

I fly back AKL - BNE on Monday on QF8771, which is a qantas flight number on the emirates a380, so I assume my eligibility will be same.

thanks in advance.
BJ

EDIT: Seems I can enter the QF lounges no probs. Would still like to know about the Emirates lounges though.

Thanks again.
BJ
