Background to this thread
We have noticed an increase in the posting of questions regarding what Airport Lounges are available at specific airports when travelling on specific airlines. While one can be assured of access at the airline lounge when travelling on that airline (provided you have Lounge membership), thing start to get complex when travelling on a codeshare or partner airline.

Posting Guidelines
Please post your questions about Lounge access in this thread. Be sure to include the airline you are travelling on, the airport (and terminal, if known), and any Airline Status or Airport Lounge membership programs you have.

When answering questions, please include the original question. This will assist in readability and management of the thread.

(Special thanks to Princess Fiona for suggesting this new thread.)

Re: Melbourne lounge access

I have a 8pm-6am at BKK flying in on MH (operated by TG) J and departing on MH. With a lot of the OW lounges closing early, can I get access to the CIP lounge at BKK with OWS? if not are there any options available?

[h=2]Louis Tavern First /Business Lounge[/h]Location details: Concourse G, 3rd floor
Opening hours: Daily: 24 hours
Operated by a third party. May be used only by eligible customers when travelling on: Finnair, Malaysia Airlines, SriLankan Airlines

Re: Melbourne lounge access

I'm doing a QFF 280K redemption in May flying CX J, with ~6hrs transit both in & outbound in HKG. I am QFF NB. Which lounges can I access in HKG and, if I have a choice, which is considered the better option?

If you decide to go into the city, you can access the CX arrival lounge. If you stay airside you have access to The Wing, The Pier, The Cabin and a new one I forgot the name...
The Wing J lounge is nice with a long bar overlooking both runways.
In 6 hours you can try them all!

You can also access the QF J lounge as OneWorld J Pax.

Re: Melbourne lounge access

Hi all what a great Thread as I was just looking to get some information about access to the Singapore First Lounge in SIN. We are flying from MEL to SIN first then on to SGN business class the question is, as there is no first service to SGN can we still use the first lounge with our stop over we are in SIN for 3 hours.

which airlines will you be arriving and departing SIN?

Hi,

Flying CX HND-HKG in F, then QF in J to SYD. Meant to be F but they canned it. What is the best CX lounge I can access? Is there an F lounge and would I get access as an arrival?

Thanks!

No you won't have access to the F Lounge as your long haul flight is in J.
You can access all the CX J Lounges and the QF Lounge.

I don't have enough experience of the CX J lounges to recommend the best one.

I was able to use the first lounge and TPR in similar circumstances last year, in transit to CMB.

Not sure about trying them all................last time I was in HKG (flying QF J to MEL) I started at the Wing and then went to try out The Pier where they looked me up on their computer and saw that I'd been at the Wing. Put a stamp on my BP and told me that I could stay there but couldn't go to any of CX's other lounges.

This goes against the OW rules, but I suspect it's because you were flying QF. The OP is flying CX, so it shouldn't matter (CX won't be billing itself for the visits).

Re: Melbourne lounge access

Currently sitting in the AS Boardroom at LAX. All I needed to show was my qantas boarding pass showing the AS flight number and my QP card. Refreshments are OK, bar is open from 6am to late, but there are no showers available. It is in Terminal 6 above gate 66.

I noticed too recently on a visit to the CX F lounge they now put a stamp on it when you enter.

Flying CX J last September and did the Lounge hop, outbound. My preference was the Qantas Lounge. So on the inbound journey, just went there. It was relatively quiet, the staff were lovely and the food was good.
