Re: Anyone on QF21 tomorrow

I'm in the SYD F lounge now for until 9pmish. I'm off to Tokyo too - but via KUL and HKG. Happy to have a drink at 5pmish. Didn't your other post say you just made it to Emerald - how are you already bored of the lounge? ;-)

Re: Anyone on QF21 tomorrow

I was getting a little confused.

Flying from SYD-NRT tomorrow for work, I'm getting to the airport at 2:30pm as the family is jetting off to DPS the same day and mum wants to see the flounge, I told her id guest her in and also confirmed with QF about the different flight numbers (all good, fingers crossed).

Is anyone keen for a drink after 5pm in the flounge at SYD?

going to be a bit bored waiting for 5hrs.

Just saying farewell to the other travelers, will be in the flounge shortly.

In DXB about to fly QF10 and given the one world website says sapphire access to Emirates Lounge in Terminal 3 I thought I'd give it a go and voila! After a bit of confusion and a lot of politeness I got into the Business Lounge using my AA platinum status. Breakfast is appreciated before the 14 he flight to MEL.

That is very interesting; I presume it is because AA and Emirates have some kind of a partnership/agreement? But it is interesting the access is reflected on OneWorld web site as well...

Well I don't believe Emirates and AA have any partnership (AA partners with Qatar) and it was that I was flying and qantas ticketed and qantas metal flight and the recognised the one world alliance status on behalf od qantas. The qantas representative wasnt there though and they did seem a bit cconfused about the whole matter.

I don't know what you look like.
Apologies Katie. Since you did not reply earlier I thought you were busy. Middle aged fat balding man is a relatively accurate description.

I was in SYD Qantas lounge earlier and then business lounge before flight and I was just in BNE Qantas lounge and now in business lounge about to go to Airtrain.

24 JAN (Fri) SYD T3 QP 17:45-18:15 (QF 743 to ADL)
27 JAN (Mon) ADL QP 17:30-18:15 (QF 774 to SYD)

Can guest one in SYD but none in ADL. More than happy to be guested into the J Lounge.

Sorry! Hectic weekend in Sydney for us. Were you on QF542/5:35pm dep from SYD? If so, I thought you might have been in 4C or 5F; but then 5F had shorts on, so for some reason thought not you.
(We were in 6A-C)

Oh, and middle-aged balding man is not a unique descriptor in the J lounge, even if it's fair. :)
I'm about as tall as Jessicatam, but a bit late for that now.

I'm a comparator now?

Apologies again. Wish we had at least said hello. I was in 4D on the same flight. Full flight.

I witnessed a couple with no status handed boarding passes for 5B and 7C which were the last 2 seats on the flight. At least they did not ask to be seated together.

Alternate response:

Does that mean you are 5' and asian?

Ahh, OK, for some reason I thought 4D & E were a couple. Oops.
And 5A was a bronze, too!! 5B needed technical help from 7C with her tablet thingie; luckily for me only once dueing the flight.
Oh well, don't really care who sits where in the scheme of things (when I'm close to the front). At least my kidlet didn't set off the flipping noise in her teddy bear like the flight down on Fri night.
