Applied 10/12/15. Received card 29/12/2015. Very slow, even given the Christmas period. Card was apparently issued on 22/12/2015.

Easy to activate.

Will reach the $2000 required spend tomorrow. Hopefully the points land quickly.

Anyone applied for this one lately? Applied Wed last week, sent pay slips in as requested but have heard nothing since, not even a confirmation email. Credit file got pinged but that's it.

Read through the thread, you'll see my experience details - including how long it took to get the card (post #43).

I applied before Christmas. Card arrived last week. Took about 18 days to arrive. Macquarie appear to be poor communicators. Although they did contact me to claim that I hadn't supplied my payslips - which I had done!

Don't expect to receive your cards in a short period of time is what I would say.

Saw that but didn't realise there had been zero communication besides the pay slip request. I'll just keep my eye on the mail.

Did you get your card yet llamesque?

Just received my first statement. Spent the required money but only received the standard points.

Still waiting on my first statement. I hope Macquarie aren't going to be one of those providers that take the full 3 months to award the points.

Me too BettyB. I'm ready to move onto the ANZ offering.

Hah. Actually, I got declined. The lending criteria must be pretty strict at Macquarie - I have a few cards open but my credit score is sound.

I've had several cards from Macquarie over the past few months and have quickly churned them. Not had a problem with the approval process. So in my experience they are no more 'strict' than any other institution.

Sorry to hear that:(

Too many applications or not enough income do you think?
