Malaysian Airlines QFF earn table

Oh ok - so because mh flies via Kuala Lumpur, and hence more miles than qf direct, more sc would be earned on mh compared to the qf flight? Even though qf doesn't fly to kl?

Correct. Your status credit earning would be at the Business level SYD-KUL and KUL-HKG. So you can expect 120 for the first leg and 80 for the second.

Yes you'd earn more SC's but you are going to be paying for it in the extra time spent flying plus any additional transfer times at KUL.

Something tells me the double miles are not posting:

18 MAR 13 MH 603 DISCOUNT ECONOMY 17MAR13 KUALA LUMPUR/SINGAPORE 52 - - 52 10

vs

21 FEB 13 3K 681 JETSTAR ASIA 15FEB13 SINGAPORE/KUALA LUMPUR 207 - 207 1,000 10

Hurts a bit when the 3k flight was 50% the cost of the MH one.

It's a bit odd, I've seen some post with the double points immediately, and others where double points haven't posted.

Hi all.

Has anyone come across this we travelled in business class Z class on MH from Hanoi to Kuala Lumpur and a friend travelled in economy class in V class their points and credits posted a couple days of the flight and ours still haven't

It has now been two weeks since travel so have submitted missing points claim online.

Thanks

Z class is presenting problems for QFF from what I can gather, I am chasing some from mid Feb while a later L flight posted as per my earlier post.

Thank you for that I will just wait a few weeks and if still no joy will call.

Can I ask did you have to send through copies of your electronic ticket receipt and boarding pass ?

Now that they have posted as earning elsewhere I did, would probably do so in you position rather than waiting, they posted as if I had flown to a military airfield in Greece LOL :

Subject: Mileage Credit issue

Good Morning,

I flew two business class flights in February that I needed to put a claim in for, these have now shown up in my account as having credited elsewhere which is simply not the case and also show the wrong cabin class:

You should ask for original routing credit for greece. :)

LOL, maybe I should, the computer obviously took LGK for Langkawi and thought LGKM was the closest match. I had originally read the statement online as saying I had been to Armageddon!

Ditto. Are you speculating or is that what QFF are saying regarding Z class? (Noted your other post about visiting Armageddon! aka SYD T2..;)

For me, SYD-KUL-AMS early Mar in D class came through in about 7 days (with 'double' points). Still waiting for Z class LHR-KUL-SYD from 13 Mar. Almost put in an online claim today but decided to wait the "14 business days" quoted on QF website.

I must have missed it.

Is there another thread mentioning it or is it buried in this thread? I had 2 business class flights in February which have not appeared on my QFF account yet and I submitted a fax to QFF yesterday with the details.

Qantas had told me they had problems, I am speculating on the Z class given the limited sample of issues here all seem to relate to that class, although my L class is lacking the double points, which at a grand total of 52 may not be followed up with haste.

A success (posted on a Tue) in under three weeks!

Mileage Monkey shows KUL-KCH as 603miles. QF obviously has it as 606miles (nicely over the threshold).
Was a V Class ticket (fare code VST), so correctly earned at 0.25pts per mile, with the Double points awarded.

Don't understand the double entry in the Base points column but the total seems right.

----

The only issue is that when checking in at KCH for the return flight I asked for my QF number to be replaced with my AA number at the Business desk.
Agent said it was done but didn't want to reprint boarding pass.

Obviously with no proof (and so few points) no point trying to chase, but a lesson learnt on changing FF programs.

My trip on Monday 1st posted automatically on Tuesday the 8th as well, just over a week, so they might be sorting it out.

The extra posting is the bounus points offer they had from the 15/2 to the 15/4.

Could not get [ TABLE][ /TABLE] to work
