Not that cheap, but Business Companion fares to Europe between well under 6k (pls taxes), to LA just over 4k and NY just under 5k (pls taxes)

Travel from 19 May through to March/April 2013.

Indeed, it's been sale after sale all year. Thanks TG for the heads up, hope this sale is extra-ordinary.

I guess for the same reason every other airline in the world has sales - to raise revenue not kudos.

I think some of the sales are already loaded into the system, if I check Per-Hkg return (for travel in Aug) its just over $700

My contact says domestic sale plus "companion flies free" in Y and J for international stretching out to March next year. Good opportunity for me to test their credentials
