Meet me in the SQ Lounge thread

new KF Gold lounge opening 20/05/22 as per SQ teaser video on LinkedIn

should reduce the crowds in silverKris hopefully

SKL wasn't too bad this morning. Told Friday is usually quieter.
I must have missed you! I have been here working since 6:30am - it was pretty busy, but none sitting on the Floor that I saw. At 6am there was no wait for a shower.

Lounging in SKL. Appears to have constant foot fall but not very crowded. Sorry, I don’t think I can guest anyone (no status), but if you are around, I would love to say ‘hi’!

Currently sitting in Sydney's SilverKris lounge, as a newly minted Velocity Gold (status matched yesterday, against my QF Gold) I think I can guest someone. Awaiting the slightly delayed departure of SQ242.
Is that the A380 Flight out of Syd Peter.

Flying out of SYD on 222 next Sat May 28 - can guest 2 into F Lounge if anybody else on that flight?

Also can guest 2 into F Lounge in SIN between 21:20 and 23:30 on May 28 if anybody holding a SQ BP is around at that time?

Flying out of MEL on SQ 228 next Sat May 28 - can guest 2 into F lounge f anyone interested.

Then flying SQ 336 from Singapore to CDG May 29 - can guest 2 into new F lounge in Singapore late May 28 (arriving 21.30). Not sure if TPR open yet and not sure if they allow guests to The Private Room.

CE - maybe we can meet in Singapore??

Yes let’s try to meet - and def no guests into TPR if it is open - this has always been the case but can guest into F Lounge and pax holding R or F BP then goes into TPR.

Was in the newly opened T3 Singapore Gold Lounge a few hours after it opened Friday morning. Was very quiet (although staff said it had been busier earlier on when it just reopened). Don't have an experience with the former lounge to compare with but I liked it. It was bright, open and airy. Food options were fine. Showers excellent (I understand they used to not have any inside the lounge!). My partner had used the SilverKris lounge on the way out of Australia about 5 weeks ago and said that the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge wasn't as good, but I found it perfectly acceptable for our hour transit.

Looks great. The food choice looks amazing and puts to shame many other lounges, notably the QF SYD J int lounge (which I had the misfortune of visiting once).

Is SQ using the VA domestic lounge in ADL pre departure on SQ flights from ADL?

Know they 'permanently closed' their lounge in 2020, but have or are they proposing to reopen another SQ lounge (post immigration clearance) or will we need to ensure we leave ample time to clear immigration if visiting the VA lounge?

I will be in the new private room Monday 13th June 0700 - 1030. SQ 335 CDG - SIN.
I can guest 2 into the brand new 1st class lounge.
Will try to report re TPR soon
