I was thinking of one of the Hyatts as they are much nearer than the HSW ... the current $350+ rates have me blinking ....

We will likely be staying at the DT as it's closer to the dinner venue.

Spoke to our event coordinator and have managed to weasel one extra space to cover those that paid. But there will be no more increases in capacity.

Doing this you would presumably have to depart the HSW (lounge?!) soon after 7pm ... I guess walking would require a 6:30pm exit.

Certainly, all events should be open to all to attend, but capacity controls outside of our hands do make things difficult sometimes.

It's definitely best practice to get in early.

I can try but I was told earlier in the week that 30 was the cap, and I have already begged for one extra spot. It is a very small restaurant and as this points we probably occupy most of their space.
