20 days to go. I am getting a little excited.

To add a little festive spirit to the evening, we would like everyone to bring a small gift. A maximum value of $10 please.

They will be "distributed" during the night. And if you were at last year's event you will know the importance of not being the last one to dinner.

And I've purchased my item today so it is all coming together.

You might want to prepare some sort of name tags and/or roll call just in case that person decides to show up and take a seat. I'm quite paranoid of this kind of things when I used to organise something.

People on the waiting list have all been offered spots. I havent kept the thread updated with attendees but my spreadsheet has everyone on it.

Although I am sad to miss it, I am glad I sat on the fence - have been back and forth about a dozen times about the timing of my return to the USA.
