I'm assuming somewhere on Southbank, if anyone wants to make a suggestion.
Indeed!

Calling Jessica!

...

I was thinking dinner on Southwharf/bank somewhere, followed by a restorative tonic.

I have made a tentative booking at HSW so the exec lounge "may" suit for pre-dinner drinks, depending on numbers (of HH Diamonds, that is).

Now confirmed x 2, hotel and dinner venue need to be sorted ...
Indeed. I am at HSW and if we get enough HHDs then pre-dinner drinks could be there.

Thinking caps on for a dinner spot, as we now number 11 ... I am open to suggestions.

Paging JessicaTam to the white courtesy phone in the SouthEast corner of the lounge :p

(I am still TBC for this do, but am watching the thread)...

WHAT?

Gee you lot are loud. :p

Ii was looking for suggestions, and so far things have been pretty quiet (apart from blackcat20 listing all of them). Sheesh.

What about P.J. O'Brien's?

From the PMs and conversations I have had, I will need to book for about 15.

Well I tried to give a starting point...

I have heard good things about the "Boatbuilders Yard", but haven't been there myself.
Used to go there for lunch quite a bit. It's pretty overrated IMHO. Certainly not cheap either. They did an OK steak sambo though.

As I say, I haven't made it there yet - despite walking past many times.

There is a little Pho shop around the back of the mall section, which is a good lunch spot (especially in winter, when pho goes down a treat). It's under $10, and a 10-12 minute walk from ANZ Docklands...

Reviews on urban spoon look good. They have availability for the 21st if we get in quick.

So, any objections? They allow split bills (but I forgot to ask if they take Amex:oops:).

I think I had lunch there 6 or 8 months ago. Was quite nice IIRC. Now if you could do 21 Dec dinner on say, 7 Dec I could attend. ;) Unfortunately, cannot make it on 21st. :(

I would say go for it given the tuapekastar review and the fact it is at most a two minute walk from the HSW foyer ...

I am platinum at the HI, might need the stay for my big win final requirement.
