That there is no debris at all, despite tidal patterns being modelled, must only increase the chances that the search is completely off mark..

On the sidelines in Miami at IATA conference Tim Clark, Emirates president is quoted saying "Somebody knows more about this than they are prepared to say. That is all I'm going to say."

I have said it a few times.

It was, truly, the perfect crime…so far…..

Now we need a perfect solution.

First step seems to be in the Malaysian court.. and , perhaps, from there it will never progress.

Currents notwithstanding.. it's curious that absolutely zilch has turned up.

I'd like to know why they are placing so much in the Inmarsat data when there is just as much evidence that it could be in at least 2 other places which they are ignoring.

Clearly (to me) there is an argument that the Malaysians don't want to find it.
They have paid out.
The Airline won't suddenly be saved by a resolution.
There is probably stuff that they really want (to remain)buried with the innocent victims

Like what. The Inmarsat data is fairly compelling

He mumbled this before IIRC. Yes, airliners can disappear, even in todays hyper advanced tracking environment. Perhaps the limitations of various countries and their surveillance would be undermined by disclosing they know nothing, perhaps various countries would be telling too much if they said they have satellite pictures / tracking of the plane.

Sadly the answer won't be answered soon unless the wreckage is found, and that doesn't seem like a possibility shortly based on recent information.

Clark's comment is outright silly. He either knows something, or he doesn't. It would seem the later is the case.

Now I'm no expert at all but that flap looks white, I thought MH 777 flaps (and wings) were silver/metal colour?
