I am sure the co-pilot was not the one with authority to let the women into the coughpit. If the Captain did not approve it wouldn't have happened.Different captain on MH370.
And as to being an international flight it was HKT-KUL,just shorter than BNE-SYD.

That captain is Cactus! How stupid can you be.....allowing photos - stupid!!!

Not that I'd ever choose ACA as an accurate source of info, but they had an interesting story on tonight: Woman raises questions about coughpit behaviour

In short, claims to have been allowed inside the coughpit while flying, and has the photos to back it up, with the finger pointed at the FO.

Whilst crazy, and grossly irresponsible, I do feel that aca are just sensationalising the story. The FO wouldn't have had any right to invite anyone to the coughpit and judging by the photos he probably was just told to sit back and zip it. Unfortunately coincidence is not working in his favour.

The captain, on the other hand is going to have a lot of explaining to do.

My speculationometer has been going mad these last few days. Both here and watching/reading the news. No doubt someone will speculate correctly but some of the theories are just plain stupid and stink of attention seeking. I can't imagine what the families of those missing are making of all of this.

Let's hope they find the plane very soon so the real investigation can start and get to the bottom of what happened.

Hear hear!

As for terrorism. Too many people jump to that conclusion with no proof.
Do you need proof? The experts have no answers.

People like to speculate and the speculation will continue until the truth is known.

Isn't that like 90 degrees and deveral hundred km off course?

More like 180 degrees.(Beaten to it by dajop) The map on Aviation Herald shows how much area is now being searched. Given the fact that it seems that nothing much was transmitted by ACARS on the plane its all very concerning and puzzling.

Explains the differences in last contact times and the need to search the malacca straits which have not been explained up until now.

You could easily put that down to the fact - they haven't got a clue where it is...

Not really, to get to the malacca straits they would have to come under primary radar coverage, without some positive indication there would be no reason for them to look there since it's behind the normal flight path. The fact 2.40 was the first time used officially, suggests to me they had a clue after all.

I feel the report is quite alarmist without any actual proof to suggest that the photo and incident are related apart from the FO being involved.
It does raise some questions, but without any evidence as to why the aircraft did crash, it may be merely coincidence as to the FO being involved in both incidents.

omg... what a ratting snitch!!!

if they didn't like the smoking, they could have left.

but it seems they were more than willing participants. she obviously likes (and liked) the attention this while thing is bringing.

as for passengers allowed on the flight deck, maybe there are countries that ban it by regulation, but i know there are some that don't. I've been in the flight deck (in flight) on a major european carrier post 9-11 and there was no question that it was against procedure.

Isnt it odd that the photos released identifying the two Iranian men both have the same bottom halves?

I personally surprised that we have yet to hear any theories about how aliens traveled from the moon to abduct everyone on board, it seems just as likely a scenario as some of the other "expert opinions" out there...
No. The Aliens are from the Andromeda galaxy and they are hiding behind Saturn's moon Titan.

This new report is from the Malaysian military.Several reports now of a low flying plane seen just of the east coast of Malaysia.
Add to that that the initial reports said ATC contact lost at ~ 0130 but the MH statements say last info on plane was 0240 then this report makes sense.
Still doesn't answer the question of what occurred to get the crew to turn back if indeed that is what happened.
