Well my day is not off to a good start.
My flight has been cancelled due to mechanical issues and I'm now on a flight two hours later (1PM out of Sydney). I'm a bit worried as I'm now booked on a 737-700 which don't have business class AFAIK - but the lady who I spoke with at Virgin assured me that it does.
My plan at this stage is to still get to the airport early and see if a seat has opened up on the 12PM flight (although I'm not hopeful - I was informed that it was already overbooked when the 11am was cancelled).
Members who I'm supposed to meet in BNE - I'll get in touch this morning.
On a positive note - I guess (as long as my flight doesn't end up being economy) I'll get to experience Virgin's lunch service rather than the morning snack

Turns out my Mum is around Brisbane at the time I land heading back to her home on the Gold Coast, so she's kindly offered to pick me up on the way through. This of course means I'll get 1A rather than 2B so will be a much more comfortable ride

On another note, Virgin have now changed the aircraft operating my new flight from a 737-700 to a 737-800 so I no longer need to worry about if there's going to be Business class or not!
