The double F lounge run that some Melbournians are planning sounds interesting - it could be a good last charge to put on my MBL JQ Plat MC before I cancel it :p :p

Now, is it weird to fly down to MEL first thing Saturday morning do MEL-SYD-MEL on JQ and then back to CBR late sunday night.

Otherwise I was just going to drive down Saturday morning (boring, I know!) and back up Sunday afternoon.
A double FLounge run is tempting (I should be WP by then, so won't take up a Guest spot and obviously happy to guest people in if required).

Not weird. But hardly worth it as JQ36 departs at 9am. So best case you get about 30 minutes in the lounge for breakfast.

That changes things (probably for the better, as far as my hip pocket is concerned!). Maybe slum it in a bus down to Sydney and then do a FLounge Run to MEL and head back to CBR on Sunday.

How many AFFers do you know that don't have "weird" as part of their moto?

Since when is SYD down from CBR?? Have I missed a massive earthquake :o
CBR (Canberra), ACT, Elevation, 574 metres above sea level ...

SYD (Sydney), NSW, Elevation, 9 metres above sea level ...

that's down hill ... :p

Deposit paid. Room reserved. Now to figure out transport to and from the event.

I can only be considered silver at the moment. Hotel booked, but I will hold off paying deposit or booking flights until I can be sure I can make it. I don't want to clog up the process if I have to cancel.

Hmm, JQ35 seems to have gone walkabout on the Jetstar site.....
Looks grim:
