I'll quote this post in the medical thread as I do not want to hijack this good TR.
Yes, a good move; it's a terrific report and I am following with interest not ever having flown Qatar and the advantage of being able to fly directly out of CBR. I see the post over on Medical now. I'm sure FM will update us.
:)

Thank you so much for your detailed review of the qsuites. I'm flying them with my parents in just over a month, booked 3 out of the middle 4, hope we don't get a 4th person.

Enjoy the rest of your trip!
That sounds wonderful - would be really fun to try out a quad! None of the flights we were on were 100% full in J, so I am sure they won’t put anyone in with you.

How on earth does this qualify as a “mini trip” report?
I mean going west to get to JFK instead of East?. Over 30hours is not “mini”.

Wondered that.. but I assume you have done the lax rat run on Qf through to JFK ..?
Passes my mind that there may be merit in the longer option using a "real" J or F carrier...:)

…aaaand ……..swmbo was aghast at the sticker $$ per diem for the Hyatt
I bet dishes for a week that we paid near that for a very well used 2br apartment at the Beacon in 2017...
I won but she will not honour the bet until she finds the Amex statement...

If you want to get some serious shopping in to escape the weather Woodbury Common outlets is a great day trip. Bus from 42nd street bus terminal
