Waiting just over a month so far. This is my second time around. Hope they aren't going to make me wait the full 3 months. I sent an email today as no points at all have posted since I opened the account for the second time on Jan 10.

even after you called the rewards centre to give your QFF number?

That's scary, maybe i should hold off on applying again..

You get charged the annual fee again?

Fee paid.

Qantas number was provided at the time of application. I kept a copy of the application which shows this.

Email sent.

I try not to waste my time calling if I can help it.

Waiting for reply to email.

If points aren't posted soon I'll be pushing for compensation as it's not reasonable to fail to post any points more than a month after application.

call up mate

it's been talked about in the past 2-3 pages in this thread that the number drops off from the application.

I can confirm that as well because when I called they said they didn't have it on file even though i'm 100% sure i put it in application. Happened to others too.

I think you'll find the terms and conditions you agreed to (yes, those pages and pages of fine print) explicitly mentions you aren't entitled to compensation from 'last' posting of points, plus it might take some time. This is at least what ANZ's terms says. I wouldnt hold my breath for them to do anything more than they have to.

Otherwise, read all the previous comments. They all mentioned calling up and noting their QFF number got them the points very very quickly.

I think it better to wait. I can see some free points coming here. If they fail to post the bonus points within 3 months they will be in breach of contract. I have provided them with my qff number and have proof of that occurring at the time of my application. I'll be seeking a refund of the annual fee if the bonus points don't post in accordance with the terms of our agreement. This same strategy worked with HSBC. Free points are better than quick points for me.

A phone call yesterday and yes - Qantas numbers don't stick from the application process and points in the account today.

I like your style Dr Ralph :)

For some reason my wife's points haven't come through, even after calling. And yeah we've met the spend threshold

Wait the three months and then get the points for free. If NAB is unable to transfer your QFF number that you gave them on your application then they should be made to pay for their failures and breach of contract my not providing the points within the stated terms.

Good luck with that. I'm still waiting for Nab to pay compensation for their stuff up a few years ago when they doubled up on transactions and killed people's account.

Wont need any luck. You breach a contract you pay damages. Common law extremely clear on this point. Very happy to commence legal proceedings to recover those damages as its a sure bet it wont proceed to trial. They'd be incredibly foolish not to settle. But if they want to go to trial I'm up for that and claiming back the costs I incur.

You may need some legal advice to resolve your long standing problem.

lol, just ring up, give your FF number (again), and get your points.
Might preclude your snout from dipping the NAB feed trough again if your above course is pursued.

Yep similar experience here. Called 2 days ago and QFF number not linked. 75k points, plus whatever else I spent, came through today. Must be a Qantas issue as never had this problem with NAB velocity cards...

wife still hasn't got her points yet. bit of a kick in the teeth seeing as we saw 40 points come through last week.

Very odd considering if anything come through it would be like thousands

A week after I sent the email they noted my QFF number and have awarded 75,000 points.

Just cancelled the card.

Hoping to get back on again for a 3rd time before the offer closes.

Have you called them?

How many rounds of annual fees have you been charged?

What's the best number to call / email address to use to get your FF # linked?

Called this morning and the nice lady confirmed that we would get points in the next statement. To be able to confidently see and say that is fking amazing compared to other banks where they just tell you to wait 3 months.

I have to say every dealing with NAB has been sensational so far, in terms of queue wait time, staff that are easily understandable and to the ability to give answers.

We normally just call the number on the back of the card
