NAB Qantas Signature 115k QF points for $395 AF - Pointhacks exclusive

I was actually led to this forum by a Google search on people having issues with the 115k Pointhacks offer.

Yesterday I was told that the points are about to be credited and to get back to them if that hasn't happened within seven business days.

After they eventually credit I intend to ask for a refund since the points from a given statement are supposed to be credited within two business days, which hasn't happened in either of the first two months.

I have sent in a complaint . Lets see how they respond

followed up again today and was told there were still waiting for the award department to come back to them. However, they are crediting the annual fee back to my card. I havent seen it in my account yet

What did you say for them to credit the annual fee. I tried to push it but they wouldn’t budge.

Got a response to my complaint within a couple of business days which was surprising. Agreed to a refund of annual fee. They didn't explain why points didnt post and just said it will with next statement. Expect the next statement to be in the next few days and hopefully have the bonus so let's see...

Well 2nd statement arrived 2 days ago and still no points posted to the QFF account. Not only that, I spent about $2200 but on the statement only got around 1600 points. The missing 600 odd points equate to exactly the total of the first 6 transactions for the month (all points eligble). Has this happened to anyone? I'm now concerned that if they didn't count that $600, then I haven't met the 4k spend for the bonus. Have to put some transactions on it quickly so its still inside the 60 days. NAB are really hopeless..

A friend who might know suggests that there perhaps could be some blame to be laid at Qantas's feet here too. Apparently their desire to credit points only right at the very end of the stated window is causing problems with systems at NAB and Amex (transfer from Westpac offer).

better than mine... no points on two statements already and no SLA on when it would get fixed.. although the refund of annual fee just came through this morning. It's good for 115k points but lot's of efforts

Still haven’t heard a word, other than the generic “we’ve received your complaint” letter. It’s been 2 and a half weeks.

How long since you opened the account? I got two statements already and no points but annual fee refunded which is alright.

Few months. Have 2 statements already. First said about 3800 points (nothing credited) and second was 400 (has credited ok)

i have received a reply that included the following:-

Thank you for taking the time to contact us about your Qantas Frequent Flyer points. I know this hasn't been a good experience for you and I’m sorry.

I am writing to confirm you have met the spend criteria for the bonus Qantas Frequent Flyer points as part of the Qantas Rewards Signature campaign. Please be advised bonus points are allocated within 90 days of meeting the spend requirement which you did on your July 2018 statement.

Rest assured that I have passed on your feedback to the appropriate team who are working hard to constantly improve our products and service to customers. Thank you for your enquiry and please accept my sincerest apologies once again for any inconvenience caused.

What to do now

If you're satisfied with this outcome, you don't have to do anything. If you have any questions or would like to discuss this in more detail, please call me on 1800 152 015

Hang on... so they didn’t even address the issue of the regular points not posting?

I also have an issue with this card. First statement, no points for my $3K spending. Called NAB, after a long time and a few agents, they advised that they could not identify my QFF profile in the system and that someone will call me within 2 business days. it is now the 3rd business day, and I will have to follow up with them again. Annual fee has been promptly included in the first statement.

This whole saga (ongoing for me) has been very annoying, but it's at least reassuring to know others are in a similar position.

I called NAB again. The lady said she remembers my name as she has a note about my previous call. I was then explained that they are having an IT issue and i am not the only one. Look like this will take some time to fix.
